@Virtuoso. Having lived in Africa, I had thought the same as you, UNTIL one Tanzanian gentleman pointed out to me that having many children ensures that you will be taken care of in your dotage. No Social Security/retirement plans in the vast majority of the countries on that continent.

When are people going to learn? IT's not the breed. It's the owner who hasn't had the dog properly trained or the owner isn't properly trained on how to be a leader. Dogs gravitate toward a "Pack Leader". If you aren't the leader, the dog will assert him/herself as the leader. That's when you have trouble. No ones afraid of a yappy little Yorkie who is "asserting" and being aggressive. But multiply that by about a factor of 10 and you have an assertive and aggressive Pit or Rottie who scares the bejesus out of everyone. Again if you don't lead properly, the dog will in all cases. It's in their DNA.

Not true. A "Rescue" dog is a dog that has been rescued from Animal Control, Dog pound or adopted from specific animal or dog rescue groups. Many, many different animal rescue groups exist. Like Huskies? Shepards? Pugs? Jack Russells? There are rescue groups for most all breeds and just plain old mixed breeds too. Google it if you don't believe me.

Say what? LOL!! This is surely a case of a pot calling a kettle black! Though "unproven" it is more likely that NK is the single largest supplier of illicit drugs, i.e. methamphetamine into Japan and has also been called out by the international community for counterfeiting the currency of many other countries. Perhaps these two gentlement where cutting in on 'ol Kim's action?

Here we go again. When is the US going to learn to stay out and wait until the dust settles and then deal with who is left standing? Let the Libyans sort out their internal struggles or if their Arab neighbors want to do something about it, let them instead of the US being the worlds cop.

I believe a 10 - 15 percent "Flat Tax" is the best and fairest way to go. No more Revenue Service, no more forms, less government bureaucracy.

I am also in agreement with "Elephunk" and "Katsuro1000". The lack of politeness in today's society is terrible. Gentlemen seem to be a dying breed. Most ladies I know enjoy and appreciate good manners. If a lady does not want these gestures she will let you know and you can adjust accordingly. Make a note: It doesn't make her less of a person or a woman if she doesn't appreciate you being an "old fashioned" gentleman. Holding a chair or door for someone is not a waste of time, it's a gesture of politeness and as "masterkun05" said...common sense.
