it still doesn't take away from the fact that the man is knowingly doing something very evil in the eyes of Muslim culture.
Except for the minor detail that what this preacher plans to do Saturday is totally legal under the provisions of the U.S. Constitution. If the "Muslim culture" is soooo repulsed by this act, they are welcome to burn Bibles to express their outrage. They can even throw in a few Beatles albums, too, since John Lennon once said they were bigger than Jesus Christ.

Time to see if Obama goes on record saying he believes it's OK that this Koran burning should happen since it's a protected right, though not a smart thing to do -- like he did on the GZ victory mosque issue -- or whether he will keep the teleprompter locked up on this one.

It's tragically stupid if it influences uneducated people in places like Afghanistan -- who can't get to Florida but will instead take their rage out on our troops.
Do you remember what happened when your Bible, Newsweek, falsely reported the flushing of a Koran at GITMO a few years back? One of the fallout incidents was Muslims in Africa shot an 84-year-old nun four times in the back.
Point being is if Petraeus is really concerned about the safety of his troops over the actions of a 50-member church in Florida, he would relax the ROE in A-stan.

On this point, we agree. While what this pastor is planning to do in distasteful and offensive, it is also legal. If he wants to go ahead and burn copies of the Koran, that's his Constitutionally protected expression of free speech right.

(Obama) said he’d “keep fighting, every single day, every single hour, every single minute to turn this economy around.”
Of course, that's not when he's on vacation, playing golf, shooting hoops and hosting celebrity-laden parties at the White House.
Meanwhile, millions of Americans and the economy are hurt by 9.6% unemployment.
If $1.2 trillion couldn't keep unemployment below 8%, as promised by Obama when he signed off on Porkulus Maximus, does anyone really believe another $50 billion will do anything other than create more debt the Goverment will have to pay interest on?
For the democrat partisans, what do you think is going to happen when the interest this administration has to pay on the national debt goes up from 2% to, say, 10%? Can you say, "Inflation"?

The promise of keeping the unemployment figure under 8 percent touted by Porkulus Maximus failed miserably. Today, the "official" number is 9.6 percent. Now Obama wants democrats running for re-election in less than two months to go back to their voters and tell them this administration needs another $50 billion from them.
Heh, wonder if anybody is in need of employees who spend like drunken sailors? There will be a number of them in the form of democrats out of a job come next January.

Well, Nixon had his enemies list. But no president I know of has ever attacked such a large chunk of American voters the way Obama just did. Didn't he (or, rather, his teleprompter) say there are no red states, there are no blue states; there's only the United States?

For someone who's suppose to be the president of all of us, Barack Hussein Obama's distateful and very unpresidential comments about the republicans must truly be embarrassing for any American who has supported him and for his democrat politicians that are in serious trouble for November.

Obama actually actively tried not to portray it as "Mission Accomplished"
Heh, Obama kept it low key by giving a big speech about it -- calling it, "turning the page" -- on U.S. national TV from the Oval Office, the mainstream media made a big deal out of it and the left jumped up and down in excitement saying it was a "promise made, promise kept".

If the Palestinians weren't such crybabies and hate-mongers, peace in that region might be possible. But they live in perpetual world of self-victimization and blaming others. As a Jew, I hope Israel finally does what it needs to do to get peace for itself once and for all.
