Peace will never be achieved in that part of the world. The Jews don't want Muslim neighbors any more than the Muslims want Jewish neighbors. Those two religions both claim the same piece of dirt as their holy land. That's bound to create conflicts between them. Unresolved conflicts will lead to more violence in an attempt to resolve them.
And the wheels of the bus go 'round and 'round.

Anything directed or produced by, or starring Michael Moore. Even when his movies show up for free on TV I take a pass. Can't believe there are people who actually lined that slug's pockets with their cash.

The left wants to ignor the fact that candidate Obama's original promise to voters was a total withdrawal of U.S. troops within 16 months of taking office. Heh, so much for a "promise kept".
What's more, the withdrawl of U.S. combat troops was always Mr. Bush's game plan. Obama did absolutely nothing to alter the original timeline agreed upon back in '03. When the sun rises tomorrow morning look for Obama to take credit for that, too.

but what is going to get over is the US troops active involvement in it ... the issue is not as much with Obama's acting skills, but more with simple English comprehension skills of people. *
Americans don't expect global liberals to know that the United States still has military personnel stationed in S. Korea nearly 60 years after hostilities between those two countries "ended" in the early 1950s (a peace treaty has never been signed by the two Koreas, FYI).
It will take that long -- if not longer -- before the last U.S. troop is withdrawn from Iraq.

What exactly did he do to "fiercely oppose the war"?
Well for starters, in 2007 then-Senators Obama And Biden joined fellow democrats who voted four times to cut funding for troops deployed in Iraq.

This war is not over and neither is American involvement in it. For Obama to act as though it is is a great disservice to those troops still very much in harm's way every day over there.

(Obama) said the nation’s most urgent priority now must be fixing its own sickly economy
That will begin to happen when the democrats are voted out of office in November.

Promise made, promise kept.
Time to dispense with the “promise kept” lie, because that’s exactly what it is.
During the campaign Obama promised on his Website to have all American troops out of Iraq within 16 months of taking office regardless of conditions on the ground. That deadline passed on May 20th.
Also, during the campaign, Obama repeatedly criticized the surge strategy when in reality it proved so effective that he is not only applying it in Afghanistan, but also now has its author, Gen. David Petraeus, running it.
As for him taking credit for ending the U.S. combat role in Iraq, he did no such thing but instead followed the game plan left for him by Mr. Bush that was agreed upon by Iraq and the U.S. in 2003.
What's more, combat troops are still deploying to Iraq. A combat brigade from Ft. Hood will be leaving for there on Friday. The only change is what they will be called: from BCT's (brigade combat teams) to "advice and assist" units. Same people, same weaponry, same job as before Obama's speech.
Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

But, but, but ..... the democrats vowed to remove all troops out of Iraq within 100 days of taking control of the House and Senate in 2007. And Obama promised to have all troops out of Iraq within 16 months of taking office (i.e., May 20th of this year).
Just words. Just speeches.

This was another of (B)ush's disasters
Man, liberals still don't get it. The disaster happened before the storm when Nagin failed to do his job, the storm only exposed that disaster.
After the storm, Blanco refused to allow Mr. Bush to federalize the relief efforts. FYI: Federal law was changed because of Blanco, and she didn't even seek another term. Which turned out to be the best thing to happen to Louisana as Republican Bobby Jindal was voted into office.

Interesting how the left hates Glenn Beck so much. Those of us who actually listen to Glenn Beck's radio program or watch his TV show know he's a Libertarian and holds both U.S. political parties in disdain. That point is lost on those who froth at the mouth, stamp their feet and shake their li'l fists over the fact liberals are not in charge of the most popular U.S. television news network.
Glen (sp) Beck a born again Christian alcoholic.
Instead of trying -- and failing -- to insult him (a typical liberal tactic: Attack the messenger and not the message), how about countering what he says point by point? Yes, yes, I know this will be difficult to do as there are not many far-left Internet sites for liberals to go to and be told how to think about Glenn Beck.
Thus it must be concluded to be an Ironic Moron Conference.
Through this gathering, Glenn Beck also helped to raise more than $5 million to support the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. Even the fact that he does so much for U. S. military veteran's and their survivors also annoys the leftists. What a sad, pitiful bunch.

So, the muslim taxi driver slasher winds up working with the group that supports GZ mosque. It'll be interesting to see how the leftists and the liberal MSM spin this attack into being the work of a right-wing fanatic.

Obviously, the temptation would be to paint this attacker as rabidly opposed to the GZ mosque. Ah, but not so fast.
According to The Village Voice:
Michael Enright of Brewster, New York, who was booked on charges of attempted murder and assault with a weapon as a hate crime, is listed on Facebook as an employee of the New York City-based Intersections International, a “global initiative dedicated to promoting justice, reconciliation and peace across lines of faith, culture, ideology, race, class, national borders and other boundaries that divide humanity.” And a few weeks ago, they announced their support for — you guessed it — the Cordoba House, better known to many as the “Ground Zero Mosque.”
Heh, another example of "tolerance" coming from the left.

It's funny to watch, especially the fat old white man's political pin-up, Sarah Palin.
Heh, oh, how Obama wished he had the positive influence on candidates that Mrs. Palin does. She endorsed candidates in 5 races last night and all 5 seem on their way to victories. A sweep would give her an 18-10 endorsement record --.643 percent. And several victors have given Mrs. Palin huge credit for their wins.
Meanwhile, when Obama comes to town, democrat candidates run for the hills. Instead of sucking down the kool-aid, they know all too well that being seen with the One is akin to drinking political hemlock.

The dems brought their upcoming ass kicking at the polls upon themselves. They totally thumbed their noses at the wishes of We The People. More than 70 percent of Americans were against the Barack Hussein Obama Memorial Health Care Scam but the democrats listened to us voters with a political tin ear. Vote with the progressive/socialists and you get retired early.

The Dow is about to drop below 10,000. Millions of Americans' retirement plans and retirement incomes are in dire jeapordy. The "official" unemployment rate looks to climb above 10% with no end in sight.
These are the things voters will be thinking of when they vote in November. Looking back at Mr. Bush they see unemployment half of what it is now and the Dow breaking 14,000. The democrats trying to dump on that won't play well.
November will be no friend to the party of endless entitlements.
