I hope they don't take the ride down because of one stupid kid. There is far too much child protection going on in the world. If kids don't learn that pain hurts, they will take that idea into their adulthood and be in big trouble later. I'd rather my kid lose a finger and learn a lifelong lesson over being afraid to go outside and live on his/her own after becoming an adult due to all the coddling we did while he/she was young.

Ugh. The dumbing down of the masses. I.A. had it right. One day we will be too stupid as a race to push the button that will stop the world from blowing up.

Oh, and of course SONY makes the worst sort of hack products imaginable as well. Let's not forget that.

Never mind, I see they are on the bottom of the page now. Still, on the top left would be better but I'll live with them on the bottom if I have to.

Simple is best. Compare Google to Yahoo. While nice graphics are cool and all of that, really all I want to see is simple text presented in a logical way. I'd be happy if I could turn off the entire top 90% of the main page and only see the texted news stories and embedded pictures within.

Can you please put the indexed news links back on the left of the page? It is a pain to have to click around the site or even navigate around the main page to read all the next. The old site, while plain, was simple to navigate as all the stories were listed in logical order on the left of the page.
