That is what happens when you hold back on a lot of things when you are a kid. When I was in college, on Halloween night it was water balloons and eggs flying from one student resident to another, (off campus of course). Yes they would call the police but no arrests were made. It was once a year type of fun. But, Japanese are not afraid of water, they just prefer to be rather dried because they seem to have a lower body temperature as you can see when you travel on ANA of JAL and the heat is all cranked-up, yet they will have their sweaters and blankets while you will be gasping for air. No offense meant, just an observation.

People think they own other people like property just because they like them or saw them first. kind of like todler's thinking. If I touched it first is mine, if I saw it first is mine, if I like it is mine.

I was talking to my Okinawan friend where I normally have a beer or two, and in the conversation I mentioned that crimes in the mainland tend to become copy cat cases. He got very defensive and assured me that it would never happen in Okinawa. I called it off, and though to myself: time will prove him wrong.

For a Japanese to learn English is best to have him/her isolated from fellow Japanese. Keep them around English speaking people only.

Maybe of the "I want to become an oyster, shell, or clam", ("Watashi wa, kai ni naritai"), campaign. My motto is "Let's break that shell".

I do not even let my 7 y/o girl go to the public toilets by herself. I stand guard until she is done. Not to mention playing outside alone.

This is real hell on Earth: Smoke, continuous squicky announcements, and sicko J-pop music. If you want to lose your marbles, go for it, this is the right place to do it.
