"what is the best way to encourage people to start spending again?"
Rescind salary cuts. Better yet, increase salaries!
Posted in: Shoppers' appetite for spending is being restrained by a feeling that it is inappropriate when nearly 28,000 are dead or missing and more than 180,000 survivors huddle in shelters. What effect do you think this attitude will have on the economy this year and what is the best way to encourage people to start spending again?

Yeah, it's still a mess, but it's a lot better than having the awful Taliban running things.

OK, the crystal may be sapphire, but it probably doesn't have an alarm, which my 2,000 yen Casio watch has!
