I wonder how much extra JAL charge for the food. Jetstar charge Y2000-3000, but it isn't worth that.

"Foreign companies must abide by Chinese laws and regulations when they operate in China.”

The unelected Chinese dictatorship is acting unconstitutionally by imposing censorship. Freedoms supposedly granted by the Chinese constitution are routinely ignored by the Chinese regime. This is a government that won't abide by its own laws, yet they have the cheek to complain about foreign companies.

The Chinese dictatorship will simply take over google.cn and give it to a competitor.

There will be plenty of building restrictions for Palestinians in east Jerusalem. Israel is doing its best to cleans the entire area of Palestinians.

The shareholders are suing themselves: any money they get from Toyota will reduce the value of their shares by same amount. In fact, the lawyers will take a chunk of any settlement, leaving the shareholders worse off than before they started their foolhardy legal action.

It's also well known that Japanese companies try to cover up defects in their products. The investors should have know this and therefore have no case.

If Muslims and other religious types choose to believe unfounded nonsense, that is up to them. But don't try to tell me what I can and cannot do, particularly when the only basis for your doing so is the words of a "prophet" who managed to convince gullible people that he could communicate with "God".

China's progress can be measured by its polluted, degraded environment. Once they have destroyed their own country they will take over African countries to provide food and resources. The new colonialism is already under way.

"Environmentally friendly" is used a few times in the article, yet the plans consist of large concrete buildings, doubtless surrounded by a vast, treeless expanse of concrete.

Greek income tax is zero on the first 10500 euros, so it's not possible for taxes to reduce incomes to 8000 euros as Mr Dirvakos claims. The Greeks have been living beyond their means and it's time for a cut in living standards. The same thing will happen in Japan before long.

It can be difficult to form lasting friendships when so many companies treat their staff like pieces of machinery, to be shipped around the country at a moment's notice. It happens so many times that friends suddenly find themselves transferred to e.g. Kyushu. They will never come back to visit Sendai because their family live elsewhere and the companies begrudge any time off work. Similarly, I'm not about to visit Kyushu, because I could fly back to the UK for a similar price. The former friends are only ever seen again as pictures on their new years cards.

Let's see: "local councilman Hisato Ryono said there is nothing to hide" and "The film team broke into a restricted area to set up cameras that captured the slaughter".

If there is nothing to hide, why do the Taiji authorities do everything in their power to prevent the slaughter being filmed? Why do they instruct the police to illegally harass journalists trying to report on the matter? These are questions the Japanese media should be asking, but won't. After all, it doesn't do to "cause trouble" in this country.

The NHK evening news had little to say about this. Strange really: "Documentary about Japan wins Oscar" would usually get much more coverage. In this instance "Pretty young woman golfer comes 54th in a tournament" is deemed more newsworthy by the NHK guys.

I suppose Singapore has a lower self-sufficiency rate than Japan. And what is the purpose in pointing out that Tokyo has a self-sufficiency rate of 1%? It's hardly surprising when you bear in mind that Tokyo is run by concrete fetishists.
