I think if you head to those places alone as a foreigner for the first time this could happen anywhere in the world. In case it actually happens ;)

it should say "abunai" in an endless repeat at at least 90db :)

The Hyprid cars are not much quiter than usual gasoline cars at those speeds. especially when approaching a crossroad and deaccelerating. (ok most of them usally don't slow down) The Problem should be the higher speeds like the common 70 in the cities when the real elecronic cars are released.

But if its only the blind people they care about the should use new technologies like gps or other radio signals to warn a mobile divice that's carried arround by those people.

there are those and these and also the others... there are some real geeks that have lost it and can't return to reallife and there are those like me who consider themself as otaku because they just like anime manga and stuff but still have work and reallife realations.

seems finally some japanese realize that work is not everything in live and that live is to short to waste it by working 20h a day... AND that you can finish your work during the normal working hours if you don't have to work 20h every day.

I know it was the Japanese mentallity to work as hard as possible to keep the job you have. But since it "was" it's time that "the old ones" realize that a 20h working day isn't more effective than a regular day and that their thinking might be wrong.

I hope the junger ones will keep up their own way of thinking with a good amount of company needs awareness. I respect those who have to work overtime in order to provide something to their families, but this assumes that they get paid for their overtime.

other countries are doing perfectly fine without such "sh**". If they are lucky and find out that every student is going to the cantine around 12o'clock every day... only if... will they close them in order to prevent an epedemic? g

maybe they will also implement a warning system if a gaijin is in close location to you? Oh no I think they have something like that already g

a weaker yen would surely change the situation a bit. Not much though, but at least the Japanese companies would be a bit more compatitive in the overseas market.

But I don't think this will happen since the yen isn't connected to the economical situation but to the mood of the salesman who think that buying yen is a great way in oder to make money... or so they thought.

I'll just try to ignore it as long as I can, and when I get a fever I'll just go to the doctors or hospital and try not to infect someone else... as you should do when you have a fever every f... time :) ( Okay when there is no special flu around you probably won't go to the doctors. )

I wonder when it will be here in Furukawa. Since it's in Tokyo now and Sendai is pretty close I give it 2 more days...
