Of course Japan is a repeat destination! Just the onsens is enough reason! But there's so much more.
And the falling yen is finally making it possible again for many people to visit.
Posted in: Do you think Japan is the sort of tourism destination that most people would only come to once, or is it a repeat destination?

Amazing how the company I work for has not recommended we get a flu shot.
It would cost me 3,000 yen if I get one, even with health insurance.

"As President Barack Obama told the story at his news conference Friday, he opened his call with Cuban President Raul Castro — brother of famously longwinded Fidel — with a 15-minute monologue, then apologized for taking so much time.
“He said, ‘Don’t worry about it, Mr. President,’” Obama related. “‘You’re still a young man, and you have still the chance to break Fidel’s record. He once spoke seven hours straight.”
Har! I don't think even Bill Clinton spoke seven hours straight!

In the poster they warn us not to get too close to the edge of the station platform and fall off into the path of a train.
Incredible that the majority of train/subway stations STILL don't have barriers.
"fights and accidents involving drunken commuters"
Why is it some people can't have a few drinks and have a good time? Idiots.

“A couple of years ago, I was in the habit of going out on my apartment’s balcony for a smoke,” a man named Hojo recalls. “Then I received a complaint from the neighbor upstairs, who insisted that my smoke was causing his drying laundry balcony to smell of tobacco.”
I can't count the number of times my laundry has smelled like tobacco when I brought it in from the veranda because of smokers having to have to get their fix nearby.
