"Kakehi denies any involvement in the deaths"
She could be innocent. And I could be hit by lighting 3 times before midnite.

"Gunmen seized a bus in northeastern Kenya near the Somali border early Saturday and executed 28 non-Muslim passengers, in an ambush the police blamed on the Shebab Islamic extremists.
The latest attack allegedly carried out by Islamists"
I'm really getting tired of hearing about Islamists involved in heinous crimes.

A certain koban on the corner I go by every day is ALWAYS devoid of cops. The good point of this is I can cross the street on a red light when there's no oncoming traffic.

"pro-Pyongyang Koreans who live in Japan."
How is it possible to be pro-Pyongyang after living in Japan, with access to the world outside North Korea, for more than a few days?

"Caning entails being whipped with a rattan stick on the back of the thigh below the buttocks, which can split the skin and leave lasting scars. "
If waterboarding, which leaves no physical scars, is considered torture, what is this considered then?

"And once again Abe claims that this is some kind of 'voice of the people election' when the majority CLEARLY said they don't want it."
Wow, I can hear the teeth-gnashing all the way over here from China and North Korea where the people wish they could vote in an election.

"more than a third of voters think his economic policies have failed"
Cripes, it's going to take decades, not just 2 years, to fix Japan's economic problems.
And what was Japan's unemployment rate again? 3.6%? Not too shabby.
"People need to get out and vote and get rid of this guy and his gang."
And vote in who? The DPJ? Good grief...

Heck, close all the U.S. bases in Japan, and let the Japanese build shopping centers and manshons on the land, and deal with the Chinese, the Koreans and the Russians on their own.

I just heard Ichiro Ozawa say on NHK that Abe is holding this snap election for his own personal gain.
Ha ha ha ha, lol, anything Ozawa says is for his own personal gain.
I think this snap election is an excellent chance for voters to express their support or their opposition to Abenomics.
