Hopefully Mother Nature and terrorists will cooperate and there won't be any more Fukushimas.
That still won't solve the problem of the plutonium stockpile...

And Hyundai and the Japanese makers are feeling the heat from GM!
GM sold over 282,000 cars in China in October, Toyota sold just 82,000, and that was an 81% gain from a year ago.

"a peninsula perpetually on edge"
Thanks to China, which intervened in the Korean war on the side of the North Koreans, we still have North Korea today, keeping the peninsula perpetually on edge.

"Obama has also been charged with turning a blind eye to the gross infringements on human rights in Syria’s civil war as he tries to ensure Washington is not embroiled in another Middle Eastern conflict."
I don't see anyone else doing anything about it.

"Y14,000 - Y18,000 for a seat at the Tokyo Dome (the worst place to hold an indoor concert in Japan)?
Fools and their money ...... "
Something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, RR, ha ha!
Heck, Y18,000 for a decent seat at a Stones concert beats a LOT of other stuff available, ha ha!

"General Motors Co. has also begun to offer models with the steering wheel on the right, which is standard in Japan."
"The Corvette, which ranges from 9.29 million yen to 11.59 million yen"
Yikes! Plus 30,000 yen a month for parking!
"Keep hoping. apart from the corvette, not a single GM model that is worthwhile."
That must be why GM sold 2.4 million vehicles worldwide in the 3rd quarter. They're not worthwhile, ha ha lol

The cheapest tickets are Y14,000. Good seats are Y18,000. Ouch.
I'll just have to give up some other stuff! Very possibly my last chance to see the Strolling Bones!

"Not a single person on JT has given their story about how Obamacare has done anything bad to them personally."
One of my friends in the States is one of the 5 million or so people who got kicked off their health care plans thanks to Obamacare.

Obama needs to come up with a health care program that will not be a total disaster like the current one will be.

theResident: "Serrano - Unless Consumption tax goes up they won't even be able to start paying the debt off. After reading many of your posts, you clearly have little of idea of simple economics."
sangetsu03: "The consumption tax was expected to raise 5 trillion yen in the short term, subtract the 5.4 trillion "stimulus" package, the effect is a net loss of 400 billion yen. But then this has been the routine for the last several decades, raise taxes a little, raise spending a lot, and continue to recklessly accumulate debt."
I dunno Resident, I think maybe sangetsu03 is right and you are wrong.

Instead of that stimulus package, how about this stimulus package:
Cut the consumption tax to the original 3%!
Let people have more of their money to spend on what they want, and CUT GOVERNMENT SPENDING ALREADY!
