Japan qualified for the Olympics when they took set 1 and set 3 from Serbia. With the pressure off, Japan let the Serbians take set 4 and 5.
I predict Japan and China will play for the gold medal in the Olympics, with Gamova and the Russians playing someone else for the bronze.

"40 years on death row"
This is ridiculous, do the prosecutors not have irrefutable evidence that this guy killed 5 people?
If not, they should have let him go whilst keeping an eye on him until proven innocent. If so, he should have been executed immediately. Taxpayers should not have been forced to pay for all of his living expenses all these years.

"Japan's wavering power supply"
Japan's power supply is not wavering, every time I flick on the light switch, the light comes on, etc.
If they need any extra power, they can just borrow some from the awesome Japanese women's volleyball team.

I nearly had a freakin' heart attack as the Japanese women decided to tease the Cuban women to a ridiculously dangerous point, letting the Cuban women take two sets and score 15 points in the final set before showing them who the superior team is, taking the set 17-15.
I have to wonder how much the Japanese women will tease the Russian women tomorrow...

"the president's foreign policy credentials, which weigh in Obama's favor compared to the former Massachussetts governor who has little foreign policy experience"
Pfft, Romney has no less foreign policy experience than Obama did in 2008.
"a recent comment from Romney that Russia is the top U.S. geopolitical threat. "Come on Mitt, think! That isn't the case," said ( Colin ) Powell."
Tell us who the top U.S. geopolitical threat is, then, Mr. Powell. Oh wait, that's right, with Obama in the White House, the U.S. has no geopolitical threats anymore!
