"The body of a naked woman was found in her apartment in Tokyo’s Nakano Ward on Wednesday night... Other residents reported hearing loud noises and a woman crying out on Tuesday night. "

Why didn't the police come Tuesday night?

"If Russia hadn't joined in............likely longer and more messy."

The only result of the Russians finally joining the war against Japan was to steal their northern islands.

"At least he did not cut or kill any one ... "

Good grief! Most people haven't cut or killed anyone, nor have ever cheated people out of their money!
This criminal needs to be severely punished!

For crying out loud, just a couple of weeks ago the emperor expressed deep remorse for Japan's wartime atrocities.

"Japan formally surrendered to the Allies on September 2, 1945. "

I wonder how much longer this surrender would have taken if the atomic bombs had not been dropped...

Mr Trump himself calls his supporters "the silent majority" - a label first coined by President Richard Nixon in 1969.

"There's a silent majority out there," Mr Trump said in South Carolina last week. "We're tired of being pushed around, kicked around, and acting and being led by stupid people."

This is why Trump leads all the Republican candidates, and, if Hillary Clinton implodes, might actually become the next president of the United States.

"Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant said Bush isn’t to blame for the disaster that ultimately killed more than 1,830 people. “I think he certainly did a tremendous amount of good. It was just a tremendous storm. No one was prepared,” Bryant said."

As if Barack Obama could have done any better.

I desire to be an honored guest at Hotel Okura if someone pays for it.

"The suicide rate will double if the GOP gets into the White House. You can't deny the possibility of that fact."

You also can't deny the possibility that the suicide rate will halve if the GOP gets into the White House, Super.

    Either scenario is pretty unlikely...

"On the other hand, the Republicans are destroying themselves again, so if Clinton put her weight behind Biden he could probably win."

Or, the Republicans are going to go with the non-politician Trump, who might actually beat Biden even with a vanquished Hillary's support.

"All these pundits seem to forget how America came to be in the first place."

And a lot of people seem to forget how America came to have over $17 trillion in debt. ( can't blame more than a small portion of that on Iraq and Afghanistan ).

Daniel Neagari: "HUMANS. we need less humans (or none)."

Me: "But your presence is necessary, right? Tee hee!"

    Daniel Neagari: "@Serrano

Nope, my presence as your is irrelevant at a universal scale. I don't mind to be eliminated if it is for the better. Do you?"

    @Daniel Neagari

I prefer to think both your presence and my presence in this universe is relevant. And I certainly don't want to be eliminated. Even if the situation is "the needs of the many many outweigh the needs of the few. Or the one." ( a Spock quote ). I prefer Captain Kirk's philosophy: "There are always alternatives / I don't believe in a no-win scenario."
