    I don't think Bush warned the world of Al-Qaida's existence. I think the outgoing Clinton administration warned the incoming Bush administration of Al-Qaida's existence and intent.

    While this particular bombing is bigger in scale than many others, the violence itself predates anything that Bush could have warned us about.

    Partly Shariah law. Partly inter-tribal law as understood over the centuries. I don't think that Pakistan will be governed by Shariah law in the future, but we may see the government fall under Islamic control.
