Why are people arguing about the legality of bringing these things on board an aircraft?? It's COMMON SENSE to not do that, not a question of whether you can or not. But then again, common sense is becoming less common these days.

I think its pretty clear to anyone with half a brain and a PhD molecular physiology that what is going to happen is as follows: the super glue holding the pacific ring of fire tactonic plates in place are going to loose their adhesiveness, fall off, break free of earths gravity and go spinning off into space. After that they will collide with the moon and throw off earths orbit. Then!! The remaining fragments will hit Mars and take out our 2 billion dollar rover. Finally all three will be pulled into the one orbit, slam into each other and a new rock with the best elements of all three will emerge.... Duh!

The Olympics are about bringing the world together. This kind of behavior spits in the face of that so its right that he didnt receive a medal. I hope he gets a lot of "hey can i see your medal? Oh right you dont have one"... Leave the politics at home and just play the game.

I'm from Australia but live in Japan and feel Japanese customer service is the best without a doubt.
Sometimes in Australia when asking for tomato sauce or something I feel like I'm asking for a kidney, in Japan not at all.
And most Japanese stores are so overstaffed, with most staff just standing and waiting that I feel like I am speeding up their day when I ask for even the tinniest thing. Be busy and the day goes faster haha.
But now I've accepted that both are good customer services, just different. In Japan a customer is treated like God, in Australia is treated like a friend.

Great to see people wanting to be heard but Its sad that protests like this, with tens of thousands, do nothing to sway the gov but the chinese protest a sewerage pipeline, with only hundreds, and the gov folds to pressure.

The argument of "If someone in the cinema had a gun they could've taken him down" is null in the argument due to the gunman using a smoke or tear explosive in the cinema. If someone could've used their own weapon to take down the gunman, THEY could've injured or killed people too.
