womanforwomen--you're right about the spreading of microbes by handshakes. I remember an American radio host saying that you wouldn't have as many sick people around if the Asian practice of bowing replaced handshakes and, to an extent, hugging.

Why is there no personal responsibility and common sense and self-control anymore? As far as kids are concerned, you can't watch what they do all of the time, but teach them as best as you can, especially through example, like not going to McDonald's if you are that worried about health. Pass the responsibility to someone else; blame someone else. It all sounds so easy. But it will all lead to less freedoms and more control. As the years go by and you find more and more of your freedoms being taken away, who will be the ones crying the most?

Seems ok to me. I don't feel that a couple is any more "blessed" by having a priest or whomever conducting the ceremony.

Unusual, but interesting. Funny the criticism you can get when you do something daring and unconventional.

Krishtx--So, anyone doing chikan should be gay because the women of Japan are all flat, you say? Gee, so sorry not all women can fill out with fat in the chest region. It's genetics, you know. No need to be upset about it. Besides, the article is about a supposedly accused gropper, not the size of women's breasts. Hope we'll be able to find out whether was innocent or not.

MistWizard--I agree that men should be conditioned to watch out for and protect the women. I thought that that was supposed to be a natural instinct; I don't know what happened that many men in the world don't feel that way any more.

LoveUSA--Not all "real women" carry a lot of fat on the chest region (or even hip region). Either you carry too much or not enough. There is nothing you can do about genetics.

This has nothing to do with smoking and all to do with taking your eye off the road for a few seconds while reaching for something (or not). We've all done it and probably still do it. Let's just try to avoid doing it as much as possible. Oh, and let's not demonize the trucker driver.

Yumimoto--like I said, let her do what she wants to do. I didn't say let her do what she HAS to do. If she is doing it of her own free will, what is wrong with that? Shouldn't women and men be equal to do whatever each WISHES to do? But what if she is indeed doing it because she HAS to do it. Well, as you know, you do what you have to do to put food on the table and pay the bills, unfortunately. Perhaps she would rather do this type of thing than mop the floors and get her nails dirty, you never know. However, if this woman is being threatened in any way, that's absolutely and positively wrong.

Yeah, I hope we'll see more social services in Japan. Whether it will make a major impact is another thing. I mean, you'd think that it would, but look at America, where they have social services galore, yet massive problems practically everywhere--even in small communities. It doesn't make sense to me.

I don't think anyone really knows the actual death toll during the Holocaust or any war. Both sides will give an approximate exaggerated tallies without any real evidence to show. Perhaps both sides don't want the truth to be known.

So does this mean that many Christians believe in the existence of the fabled vampires, werewolves, witches, wizards, and the like? Now, THAT is scary.
