I'd like to see those shoes in motion. Do they look better than while she's standing still? Meanwhile, poor R. Pattz. He kind of made a deal with the devil by signing on for Twilight. And poor Chris Weitz. I'm sure New Moon will be as much of a groaner as 1st movie was. Sads all around.

Is this the PG photo? Where are the R and XXX photos? There have to be more interesting leather pieces/clothing than what these ... two are wearing. I demand photos!

Wait a minute. "Indigenous" Britons? There aren't any, are there? Wasn't a lot of Europe settled by Middle Easterns migrating up from the south? I think the British isles have also been settled by scandinavians and Germans. Not only that, but when the flesh and skin comes off a skeleton you can't tell the difference between a Black person and a White person. Meanwhile, my ancestors also fought against immigration for about 400 years. It's a losing battle, especially now that it's easier for people to travel. Me, I'm hoping to be the first Japanese citizen of Native American ancestry, and not just for the awesome Hello Kitty stuff I can get my mitts on. But I'm French and Scottish, too. So many of us are such a mix of everything, it would be best if the supremacists would just get over it and get onto something more productive. Another tip from the Girl - once you start thinking you're superior to someone else, that's 10 demerits. Once you start telling other people you're superior - you've just proven you're not. Now, about those Japanese papers ...

That's the cutest thing I've ever seen. What I love is when they don't quite understand the concept of Halloween but they get out there anyway with their bag. They come to the door in their costume and forget why they're there. Somewhere in the background their mother or father is grinning like crazy and calling out, "Say trick or treat!" There's confusion on that little face. I think I'll dress up as Mark Anthony this year and have my better half dress up as J-Lo. His legs are pretty good.

I kinda like the fuzzy butt thing going on there. Looks comfortable if you're going to be sitting for any length of time (wedding, etc.).

I like her. I think she's one of the few who actually can sing, and she's easy on the eyes, as opposed to, oh, say - Lady GaGa. But some of us know what her REAL reason is for being in Japan (shopping for Hello Kitty items). Don't start without me, Mariah, I'm on my way!

My ancestors believed the same thing - there's a spirit in everything. Some believe you can put your energy into an inanimate object, for better or worse. You can make good luck or bad luck. Maybe the belief here is that a sad or sick child might put some not-so-good energy into a doll, which then passes to the next person who owns it. I haven't seen this in action - yet, but from what people have said, that seems to be the belief behind be careful what you do, even what you think. It might come back on you. I've seen that - what goes around comes around, but not through an inanimate object. Like I said - yet.

My niece is 13 and she's a child. She's been sheltered all her life and this kind of attack would devastate her. Something like this happened to me when I was 11 and it throws your world into a major major spin. It took me years before I could trust men again. You expect that they will do something to you. Suddenly the world is no longer safe, and you're no longer a child. You know evil. You believe you're now "dirty." It takes a while to get your confidence and strength back and to get your world outlook back to normal. Polanski should be charged with providing alcohol and drugs to a minor, also. He should be charged and punished like anyone else. Her civil suit against him / settlement is a totally different matter. I do like his films, but not him personally. And Sarge is right. Samantha Geimer should've remained attractive. Rape victims should always remain attractive for the camera interviews.

Loving the duck! Wish I could have one of my own, but the shipping ... It's hard to hate on a bathtub ducky. Just about anyone, excluding grinches, of course, would smile and laugh a little, seeing such a thing floating out on the water.

I'd be interested to see if anyone debunks this whole article. It sounds like a front-page attention grabber meant to sell magazines, and also sounds like the TV show Sex and the City. Correct me if I'm wrong. I've never actually watched Sex and the City.

There is some sense in this because it's not cheap to live, and isn't Tokyo an expensive city to live in? Each partner in a relationship needs to be able to pull their own weight, that's how hard the world is right now. When I hear about a couple where one partner has been off of work for 2 or 3 years because of illness, I cringe in pain for them. The cost of living is just too high to live on one partner's salary alone.
Women who are using their husband as a cash register - stop that. You have to be able to support yourself in case there comes a day, and there's a good chance there will come a day, that you need to live on your own income. Make sure you can take care of yourself.
I've been married 4 years and have known my husband for 7 altogether. When we found each other we were broke students just getting out of college. Don't throw in the towel! There are a lot of things two people can do for an inexpensive date. My husband offered to cook dinner for me when we were still just friends and I was very impressed by that. Sure, he's not the world's best cook but the care and effort really said it all. Especially the offer of a ride home from the emergency room afterwards. (Just kidding.)
So, while it's crucial these days for people to have enough money to live on, it's silly to suggest that the poor can't find love because they're poor, or that EVERYTHING revolves around money. The desire to work toward a decent income is also important, as is the get-up-and-go that needs to come with it.

Oh, how awful. Poor woman. I'd be traumatized. What's even worse is when people see the jumper and enourage him or her to jump. That happened when I used to live in Seattle. Terrible!

I guess this is news because it's so stupid. Who lets their child play with the door handle in a moving car?! Sure, not everyone wears a seat belt but--playing with the door handle when the car's moving ... this mother definitely gets the DUH award for today.

What a terrible, sad story. The body probably is her. For Miss Le, her pain is over. For her family, their pain is just beginning. I pray that whoever did this is caught and punished. This is just a tragedy for everyone. And that she wrote a paper about personal safety would lead me to believe that she knew her killer. It was someone around whom she had her guard down. I really hope they catch him.

I like how this chair seems to be molded for big buns. Very appropriate. Wal-Mart in the states could use about 20 of these in their waiting-for-mah-ride area.

I like this idea - teaching children how to cook tasty, decent meals for themselves, like the Rachel Ray of kids' food. 1/2 an hour in the kitchen would be an eternity for them, however, but getting started cooking will keep them from eating too much junk food and take-out in the future. I'm so glad my mom and aunt taught me how to cook. It starts with simple tasks like shelling peas, measuring ingredients and setting the table. It'll be a while before they can handle a knife, but getting started is most important. A person can also save a wad of cash by cooking their own meals.

Sounds downright kinky. I think I might go if my brother wanted to treat (and he would be the type, believe me). I'm not paying high prices for sub-par food and deal with a moronic atmosphere at the same time. What is it with men and their maid fantasies - total dominance?
