Okay, how did I know you guys were going to be shredding over here, too? A bra is an uncomfortable thing most of the time. They can be itchy because a person's (I'm including men here, too, just in case) skin can be more delicate where the bra is. I hate em. I only wear one if I'm going to a business meeting or a funeral. My friend K. doesn't own one and I can't say I blame her.

Reality moment: Asian women are smaller framed and would be thinner. But she also probably strictly controls her diet to keep herself from getting flabby and to keep her skin nice.

Solar-powered phone impractical in Tokyo? Don't you guys go out to parks, play ball, have picnics, go swimming in summer? Go to the beach? No?

How did I know that you guys would be shredding over here? Sex sells, and that's the way it is.

I'm surprised there aren't more male cheerleaders on the bottom. Oh, that didn't sound right ... Well, maybe there will be more guys in the future.

That pink thing in the middle scared me until I read the story. Kinda looks like a beak of some sort, but now I see - the subject ring goes in there. Omg, this is funny. Would be a great gag gift for a man to wear, too. What sizes does this come in?

OnTheRecord, your kids will be gay. It's called karma and it'll come for you. Meanwhile, those of us who are progressive are more intelligent and we know what's right. If it was against nature to be gay, there wouldn't be any gays. They're not going away and neither is gay marriage and gay rights. GET USED TO IT. Make peace with it and be a better person.

Woo-hoo! I'm happy for them, and happy that I live far enough away where I won't be buying any wedding gifts. But maybe this is how gay marriage is going to happen, state by state. My parents were so miserable being married that I used to pray that they'd divorce, but they never did. If I could've chosen between (a) my arguing hetero parents with lots of passive-aggressive "pay-backs" or (b) happy gay parents, I would've had my tiny suitcase packed in 5 minutes and been saying adios muchachos. I won't say anything about the neanderthals right now, only that they won't win.

Where I live a person can get a ticket for not having any I.D. on them, and you don't want to have to pay one of those. I.D. is so easy to carry, even a passport. I'm sure she had a small purse with her, especially for the purpose of carrying her cell phone. Yeah, I'm not buying the underage thing, either. They thought she was a ho.

JackDorff - some men lie is why women's intuition can fail. Not all men are liars, but some present themselves very well when they want a certain woman. This is why a woman should date a man for a while before jumping into a relationship. He'll show his true colors sooner or later. But not all women do this. Some think "he's the one!" and jump in with both feet, and not even all of these relationships go south. Some do, some don't. Of course, we hear about the ones that do go bad.

Tokyo, I was thinking the same thing. She did what she did and I can't judge her, especially since I only know of her through this story, but what I've never been able to understand is this -- how can you love someone who treats you badly? I've never been able to do that. From the time I was a teenager I had this plan in mind: date your bf a good amt of time before moving in with him, live with him before marrying him, and be married for a while before having children. This is a good base, but it won't be perfect because people usually change over their lifetimes. It's sad when it comes to this, but I think "life skills" or something like that needs to be taught in high school. How to calculate living expenses should be covered in such a class. Maybe this is taught in Japan. It's not taught here in the U.S. and we have quite a few in the same predicament as Ruriko.

Gone with the Wind. Donna saw it, too. I'll be interested to see how long her run as a "designer" lasts. But she is cute. Would be so funny if she were really smart and the airhead was only her show biz persona.

I think the races should live apart. Some have to try it so they can realize that it doesn't solve ANY problems. You can find plenty of reasons to hate someone other than race. The peace will be short-lived - fleeting, even.

The same thing nearly happened where I live. A young girl went into the emergency room and delivered her baby, who was premature. The baby stayed in the hospital and the mom went home. But the mom never returned to pick up her baby. I'm glad that at least she went to the hospital to give birth, as I wish this baby's mother had. Such a sad story. I hope Japan can do something about this.

Maybe our market's just saturated with a bunch of no-talents. There are a few that can actually sing, but they're in the minority. Singing in English is important because we're not allowed to be bi-lingual. I think that's the key - must sing in English. We don't speak Japanese here. (Except those who actually came from Japan.)

All this hatred is very un-Christian-like. Am I the only one who sees this? I thought Jesus was the Prince of Peace. He changed the world with his love. Or is believing that and living by it inconvenient for you?

That's easy. You say, "They love each other, so they're kissing!" Lots of people love each other. It's what makes the world go around. Actually, I don't think as much ppl love each other as once did. Ppl are becoming cold and distant. I think we should encourage what little flames we still have. When love goes away, what will the world become? Full of hatred and murder. If that is true, I'd rather be struck by lightning and be done with it. Actually, if god was going to go around smoting ppl, I wouldn't be typing this right now. Gotta go, Iron Chef is on.

I knew there was a lot of crazy stuff in the bible, Ban, but I never knew it was that outrageous. You can't be a Christian, a follower of Jesus, and say that love should only belong to a select few. The old word was created by men and priests so that their people would procreate and increase their numbers. I do believe someone once said, "Go forth and populate the earth." That is the purpose of declaring that only men and women should have sex. But as our population on this planet continues to grow and this planet continues to groan under our collective weight, being gay will become more and more acceptable. Gay people don't procreate. Usually. I know some people are afraid that in the future everyone will be "pressured to live a gay lifestyle," but that can't happen. You also can't force someone who's gay to become a heterosexual. This is all I'll say on this matter. I'm not going to get into an internet war of words with anyone.
