Ah, all you need to do is find a Bae-fan blog to know that Gosireh Hwa (fire) in Osaka is a drinks and snacks/appetizers establishment. For a full meal, Gosireh in Tokyo is the place to book.

Notice that the first three incidents described occurred when the owners were elsewhere and not in a position to challenge or defend their items. The college student taking from the kids-boot him hard!
I imagine that the clothing thefts affected the kids and may have caused problems in homes where money is scarce.
The thieves need psychological help but they also need to make amends to places where the youth had their belongings snatched. Little kids can develop fears too easily over one incident.

Police are missing two charges: 1) theft of colleague's personal property at academy 2) theft of office key What is the female who's stuff was taken going to think? She'd be better off having her own gang to rough up the perpetrator? Add abuse of position to boot. The trainees are getting the message they will be let off easy if they commit a crime and it's against a female. Hey, the whole academy's executives and trainers need a refresher course in: it's the 21st century and idiocy/theft/sexual harassment are not allowed in the police academy.

Could not understand the choice of such an old song to promote the next summer Games-UK has a happening dance/techno music scene, so why wasn't it represented? The bus scenario to introduce the London Games worked splendidly, along with the soccer connection (hey, we watched Euro Cup). The aircraft staircase sequence using the scroll motif from Beijing to connect to the London Games was a good bridge.
Closing ceremonies-nice touch, to have men's marathon medal ceremony included. Also great, seeing Asian singers in the last 5 songs of the finale.

Shock to read this item. The actor was marvellous in the film, which I understand was filmed over a year to allow actors to show them older and longer-haired. Still a serious health scare.

1) Some movie-watchers want to hear English voices in international films. If I show anime to my friends, the preference is for dubbed anime, not subtitled anime (but the original cast may have better character voices than the English cast). 2) Many subtitled movies vary in the quality of their subtitles i.e. use of a font size or colour that is lost in the movie scenes, making the subtitles hard to read or invisible (if anyone else has watched the Chinese movies on Omni 2 (Toronto, Canada) on Saturday night, you will know of the problem). 3) Ignorance can also be a reason-it may be outside of some moviewatchers' comfort zone to watch foreign cinema. One has to encourage friends about seeing such cinema during movie festivals by knowing what is on the playbill, showing interest in the offerings and ask friends which movie (storyline) interests them most and offer to take them out! A friend of non-French background went with me to a French film last year in Toronto purely because she was keen on seeing the French scenery!
Posted in: Why do moviegoers in English-speaking countries tend to avoid foreign movies with subtitles, while in Japan, for example, it's just the opposite?
