Pity though that it hit a firm that prided itself in REALIBILITY & was leading the rest of the car makers in the world.

Hard to believe that those, that are drunk, can be in such a mind of stupidity. It is like trying to be in a m/c shop asking if you can take out a new m/c while in that state of mind---plain stupidity.

When you get down to all the smash-ups in USA & Canada YES some people to families were killed. One flaw is that so many not only drove automatic transmissions, but drove around using their Cruse Control far, far to often which was another flaw. Thankfully I have only diven manual shifting cars/trucks in my 46 yrs of driving & yes my choice of my Subaru 'Forester' was with manual shifting.

To me PINK is for women, now some women want to call it Salmon amongst their husbank & children to still win. Still to wear a pink robe or whatever that is a bit out of line to most males.

Admit I wear sun-glasses so often when I know I will be facing the sun when riding a m/c or driving a car or sun is so bright & I had some costly work on my eyes not regarding hay fever or such, but both eyes were loosing depth of preception to reading abilities & no longer wear normal glasses, but do use sun glasses to protect my present eyes.

According to the media some firm making the petrol pedal was in the wrong (this is sort of normal of an outside plant making the parts that are installed in said make of cars/trucks)& this is to be corrected.
Also Ford trucks are having the same problems though not as dramatic.

Beautiful picture of the impossible to me as an en-ex fruit orchardist in B.C., Canada. Personally we are expecting much colder weather in a short while & admittely right now it is to warm, but not warm enough to blossom plum or cherry trees here. This season has been sort of crazy to even us in this Province.

If the car was stolen then harder to trace. So many that have been drinking will be in such an incident & then run off to be caught a bit later on due to guilt & turning themselves in, or word got around about their accident.

Interesting thing this is only on Toyoto vehicles that are made in North America & already Ford is running into the same problem with some of their trucks. I am a manual car/truck driver so do not know the flaws on some of the different automatic transmisions---likw the drives can be different. So feel better that with a car/truck/m/c I am with manual shifting & the advantage of a CLUTCH is so easy to use if something went wrong PLUS basically m/cs are without back-up systems.

Canada has hit the panic button due to vandals or whatever during the Winter Olympics so there are a maze of cameras being watched to whoever. So I would not be surprized that we would give Akihabara streets AND they will not come down, but be upgraded due to age.

Problem is when the USA went off to conqure Iraq in just a few months to give the people democracy, to find & remove MWD they said they would be back to Afghanistan to clean up the mess.
Guess this is he future, a bit later then planned on, & more so then they had expected.

Question is WHY was Haiti run like this for simply ages? Now it is a nightmare to all there & those that have come to help to supply FREE goods as Haiti does not, & never had the money to pay for help or supplies. While the vandals make Haiti into a place of horror & to other humans be they from a helping country or Haiti visitors, but then for ages Haiti has been like this for generations.

Nice looking young woman, but a lot must be going through her mind about her future, which is not good for anyone. Also good photo as well.

Very good photo & since at our gun club we have archers as well this did catch my attention.
I remember one day I was accidently there & watched the young archers & here was this 8 yr old Asian girl with a compound bow, for her small size, doing her best, but the drasing of the arrow to aiming was seemingly a bit to much for her due to her size, but in our minds anyone trying it should be praised. Fortunately we have a top rate instructor.

Haiti is looked upon as one of the poorest countries in the world with a massive population. To be there as a helper is taking a chance on your life due to mobs, no proper Government or Police that you can trust. Cdn, like so many others is putting a lot of money into the correct groups like the Cdn Red Cross, along with having RCMP over there for some years, helping to train Haiti police, also the UN counts on Cdn troops, but so much more is needed.

I agree that young woman needs a basked on her bicycle for look at the large hand-bag to her left to also a plastic bag of possibly some food products. It it is dry snow then great, but I have a hunch it is wet snow & reason for it clinging to her & the rider behind. My credit to the both of them for said snow can take one down quickly & do not notice a bicycle helmet on the young woman which is a MUST in Canada no matter what age. Still it was a lovely photo that cought our attention. Good photographer.
