Yes I would agree with neverknow2 that this is one of the popular Baluga whales & it is not a dolphin. Still like others it is not with its family out in the ocean to injoy life as they really do.

Actually quite a sight for those to see, including ourselves. I noted with awe on the face of one young woman in seeing all the above & can see why.

Best of the New Year to anyone over there & hope this one improves.

Best of luck to them for speedskating is not only a challenge itself, but also some good speedskater in Norway, USA, Germany, Italy & Canada just to name a few. It is something I use to do back in the 50s.

This has been a hard one to accept for the man was simply out of his mind, but to do this to a two year old child that was drunk on water/wine the adults had given him forst of all------really for what will the child be line when a teener to an adult?

It is a boring game to anyone that has not golfed even a little bit in their time. I spent many of my teener yrs as a caddy at a very costly golf course where I sometimes practiced with a 9 iron while waiting to be called to duty.

I can understand Tennis, or baseball, to hockey for I use to play hockey as a young 'un to played basically soft-ball though tack on speed-skating comp for I did that & same with m/c competition for some 42 yrs.

So you understand the sport if you have been in it a bit AND yes I did quit a bit of curling up untill a few yrs ago.

I have always stayed AWAY from crowds, line-ups, movie houses, or of parades.
In looking at those gals does sort of remind me of what a tin of sardines is like when I open up the tin. Not an inslult, but just something that came to mind in looking into this photo of all the lovely looking young gals so packed togeather.

Very safe open-cage to be operating from to my eye & yes being an ex-fruit grower I spent a lot of my time in a self-propelled Girette of three wheels, with lifting to swinging boom of where there was not THE SAFETLY as seen in that photo

Unquestionable beautiful beyond belief. I am fed up with pine trees & the usual or homes all decorated. This is the answer in my mind. Those able to see the above are so lucky.

Back around '51 I took over one of the depts of mens clothing like, sweather, to various forms of underwear, socks, shirts, ties etc.

So in my first day I was looking over what we had when I came across this pair of white nylon mens short with red tomatos & the wording "I'm a hot tomato". So I was shocked & the most senior gals pointed out they were the fastest of all, showed me the intake & sold. Seems the g/f to wives turned out to be that largest seller of them. Obviously learning something about females when it comes to underware, shirts, ties, sweaters, to socks for they were the MAIN buyers & not them men themselves.

The very idea of violence taken out on young girls is pretty hard to accept. Is this man a mental case? Has he recently been let out of jail of a bug-house for violence?

Any female, male or couples that are competiting in the World Championship to the Olympic winter games are under a maze of pressure. My heart goes out to any of the competitors to also summer or winter championships for it takes a lot of training to guts & perfection to become a winner of one of the three medals.

Good lord I would not have a chance at a much younger age for I was into comepetive speed skating. So we were that different & you will see competitive speed skaters on the TV around our winter time.

Believe me we Cdns have some of the best when it comes to dancing in the Olympics. Just this week they had (not the muscle-like hockey skaters of a while back) it open of those best figure skaters to ice dancers that were simply amazing to all of us. These were those that did not make it to the world championship or Olympics, but still skated & had these amazing styles of skating.

You take some of the 40 year old men & then did some amazing moves you could not imagine & the gals were smart enough be be in the best of shape at their 20s to 30s.

The colour is ghastly & I am not throwing names at that or my Leica for I have an old copy of another German camera, made in Japan right after WWII, to my Pentax Spotomatic I & Spotomatic II only I cannot obtain batteries for the latter two--basically the light meter, which is a pity, but in these modern days like batteries to modern changes are things that we cannot catch up to a few years later on. Same in the world of Japanese made motorcycles where some parts for a '00 Honda CBR929RR are not that easy to obtain---time goes on.

I was seriously thinking of Toyoto for they have a good reputation in North America, but then Honda as well----both to replace my 15 yr old Mazda small 4X4 truck. Ended up with a Subaru SUV & like the idea of where there is a hook at the back of the floor matt so it cannot move forward. Though I toss in a rubber matt which I check & clean off each day, it is sort of like checking my tyres in my SUV to my m/c sportbikes.

numbskull I have driven with automatic trannies in trucks or cars, but preference is for manual transmission. Mind you once summer arrives that is when I am riding one of my sportbikes.

So NO I do drive with my foot on the brake pedal, put poised to to used. So in a what is is like riding a fast trotting m/c & you have to be on elert when riding so same when driving by SUV. It is those with automatic transmissions that are driving around & so often tapping away at the brake pedal. You should see them up in the mountains I ride for the stop light is going on so often at the bends--something a m/c rider will not do & same when driving an manual shift in a car. I have lasted 46 yrs of driving cars/truck to riding m/cs & never been in an accident which I think is a pretty clean record.

Makes me think of my Leica IIIC back in 1950, all being metric & new to me in those days. It has been up many mountains to you name it & still in its original leather case all those years.

If I have a light meter, then it still works like a charm. Light meter has been damaged some yrs ago.
