IF he was driving a manual transmission, rather then an automatic transmisson THEN he would not have mistaken the throttle for the brake FOR in stopping one steps on the clutch pedal to also the real brake pedal. Said error is so common as people starting up or about to back up step on the throttle pedal NOT realizing they are in DRIVE & not reverse. To simply for lousy drivers of women/men of any age.

Really AMAZING to say the least & hard to imagine someone able to catch & save the life of a 10 yr old boy, for they are not the weight of a baby.

She deserves more then a few words of thank-you, but that is probably all she received.

So Nihonlover you put it so much better then I can.

At 79 yrs of age & for all my live of driving cars, trucks to riding m/cs I have ALWAYS crawled at well below the speed limit & continually watching out for students or anyone that might run into my movement even in a J-Walker fashion. To a Red light, I have never seen one at a school zones in those yrs.

Seems like he is saying the American assistance will be pulling out in a while. Possibly a bit like the Canadain Troops through UN.

All UN troops do NOT know how to fight tribes of various Afghanistan tribs to religious to war lords & such. If the UN troobs fight the same as the enemie then according to all they will be breaking the laws to Geniva Convention rules.

I still have my late-Mother's fur coat hanging around since '91 made of rabbit fur & that originaly was made in '49. Her preference rather then more costly fur coats, but she needed something to stay warm in out here in Western Canada.

She looks warm even in a short fur coat more in style of when driving a car & NOT the fur coats of many other people that is well over the knees or calf of he leg.
So here hair looks a bit messy, but that was not so important to me, for so many women do not have perfectly made up hair all the time & like others I would not complain.

I feel sorry for the girl & her family to relatives & close friends. Still if both were riding a moped without even proper head protetion then there is the problem. Even with a helmet one should be with eye protction as well.

As who was in the wrong well teeners in all countries tend to be novices when it comes to so many things which also means being on the roads of the continual traffic.

Obviously pirates have been common things around places like Philippines, to other small countries/islands ONLY best they could do was steal the ship & hope to get money for the rusting hulk in their hands to the products.

Mind you once pirates from Somalia started to attacking Western World ships the money was so easy to obtain & yes though they claim not to fork out money to said pirates it is being done through hidden means unknowen to the media.

it seems ships witin reach of helping to those being attacked. Unfortunately their nation seems to have all these strange rules & regulations to their navy ships that are close to crippling them from said assistance or warding off the pirates.

I do my hair washing when in the shower, which is daily to sometimes twice a day. Have the correct shampoo rather then the bar of soap for the rest of the body. I just make sure my hair is "squeeky clean" as my late-mother use to say when I was a child to teener so many yrs ago. I also have a plastic scrubber I can scratch my scalp with which I feel is a must as it gets down to the very base of my scalp under the hair. this latter was a trick I picked up with a good barber some 30 plus yrs ago for before it was my finger tips to nails trying to do the same. If you look at the blue part of the mentioned item it has blue parts like my hand used one I have used so many yrs in the past. Possibly that bit in blue, as mentioned, may be one of the good points.

My apology for a bit of mix-up in grammer, I am sure it has something to do with age.
Obviouse I was trying to say we in this part of Canada do NOT have any colour, other then green to vallen leaves i basically brown, due to mainly Pine to Fir trees with some maple trees & such at our homes. That photo is definately outstanding & closest a bit of touch in leaves colouring is with the hard wood trees in Eastern Canada, but not a hop of anything like that photo.

Must admit that photo with colour of OUR leaves is nothing like that since I am in Province of B.C, Canada. So that was a good photo AND one could see the lucky people were just soaking in the beauty.

All this fuss from some people that think it was wrong for Obama two bow in respect to the emperor of Japan.

I am nothing, in this world, but when I feel it is necessary I will bow to someone new to me from Japan or.

I will bet your of Prime Minister of Canada did the same as the President of the USA.

Are we looking at a red T-shirt under the jersy? Would be okay if cold, but not while playing.

Unstable mind for sure, high ranking to abusing it, & believing HIS god was more important that his country. The man was out of his mind & left a maze of red-flags all over the place in the last year or so---obviously the fault of the Army of Defense Dept. Being with that rank & a psychiatrist, he would not be on the front line shooting fellow Muslims, but back in safe quarters consoling with wounded solders. Besides he was desperate for a wife that would be 100% Muslim in what she wore to also prey at least 7 times a day. Fat chance in the USA.

Allow me to agree fully with KallyPygous for it is next to impossible to believe anyone would waste money like that, let alone have it to waste.

It is going on in Canada & the USA as well. So many people are willing to fork out money for something that they are told to be the answer. For sure the Net is full of things like that.

Costly & still in prototype form I can see it as useful for someone that has just lost their hearing though might have the money. It happened to me of where others were saying things & I did not know what they were saying.

Fortunately my PD spotted wax in my ear & that was the answer once removed.

I cannot comment on this one though I have some personal feelings. ONLY this involves the ways of some drunk Americans, to a Japanese figure skater, which also has to do with JPn culture, I am sure said figure skater to be good PLUS how a Russian handles or looks at things for I am a Canadian. That is basically three/four reasons I cannot make a comment only to mention I read it from start to finish along with comments of other regulars on JT.

Seeing anyone in a Kimono is so traditional & with the variations of colours as most are in cotton, not the original silk in layers------it is still so beautiful.

The 'belt' (sorry wrong name I cannot remember) in so many cases is more costly then the rest of the kimono & how they get it on is simply beyond me unless they have the help of someone else.

Always beautiful for sure. Also many Americans that have spent some yrs in Japan have purchased one, as well. Yes the kimono on them is lovely as well.

So the Kimono is for wedding, to tradational things & that is fine to my eyes if not beautiful. I saw a colour photo of 4 oe 5 girls in late teens, all of different patterns/colours & they looked lovely.

Lastly a nice photgraph on Japan Today.
