Photo of beauty without question. If I lived close to there I would want to do the same thing.
Unfortunately I am at the Interior of B.C., Canada & really we do not have any trees with hard-wood that produce colour in Autumn.

I use to sell a few of them in our sportshop. So have two more or less normal ones, but the salesman gave me the gift of a MINI one if you can imagine. Guess I will have to dig that up & maker sure all is well.

I know that the floor mats will not move forward on my '06 Forester due to being held by a hook system at the back. It is my preference of a rubber mat, due to winter time, snow & such. Mind you I remove that daily & make sure it is eliminated of any grit to any snow in the future & tend to keep my eye on the forward part of my driving position JUST IN CASE, but have been doing this for some 64 yrs. It is simply automatic.

In honesty I have to wonder if all people have mouths THAT LARGE that they can take a proper bite on such a sized burger.

Not good to see a leading name, such as Honda, that is in debt that much. That was a bit of a shaker to my way of thinking.

Yes a helmet is compulsory in this area even for adults, but in 90% of the cases it is so hard to have a child with a helmet fitting properly. You look at them & the helmet it sort of hanging on their head & NOT fastened properly or fitted properly.

Loss of the 6 yr old girl will be pretty dramatic to fellow classmates to father & such. At such a young age children are NOT riding their bicycles to school & so often one of the parents will walk them to drive them to school & yes do the same back home. Six yrs of age is to young to know what side of the road she should be on or even think defensively.

Do not know if she was in a SCHOOL ZONE which in this are is only 15 KPH for that makes a big difference.

Still those two kids really make you smile right off the start & I thank anyone that went to work to have said kids like this to the photo.

Noise comes from the three cameras I mentoned/used for with 35mm film it was press the shutter button & the focal plane shutter went about its noisy bit.

Doubt if my threaded in/out lenses, rather then ease of baynot type turning into the camera body or out, for the threading was a bit of a task & when changing a WA lens, first time I would use it in action, the lens fell to the rocks on the mountain side & down it went breaking up, still bought ANOTHER 26MM wide angle lens for the Spotomatic II.

Still thank you for the above bit of information as I will have to get into the new digital world & liked my retired Panasonic cameras the, but now batteries cannot be found for the light meter to also I wouls still be using 35mm colour film Digital will not.

Being Japanese herself, she probably looked upon him as Chinese & might have recognize a few of the words in being one of the two main languages used by Chinese people.

Still she must have been teriffied beyond belief. Pity this did happen considering we look upon our home as being that of peace & security.

Bar a Leica IIIC I had since '05 Pentax Spotomatic I & the II models of 35mm only to various THREAD off/on LENSES was what I worked with for many yrs as a novice plus free-lance photo work in B&W only. Be interesting to see what Pentax offers in the new world if digital.

Agree that few of us farmers became rich. It was/is a life-style not only in Japan, but in many parts of the world where farming was a must to survive & a bad year or, in some cases a bad winter, can ruin all you did previously to a maze of money needed to restart again.

If I had the money I would remove the front, side to back lawn of my home in Canada, to be normal like gravel & dirt & a few sage brush for they do not need watering & can still look pretty through the year.

Please bring back the older wind down or wind up car windows. I have the latest, as of some yrs ago, being the button switch that still drives me crazy in having to use it since purchase in '06. Friend of mine luckly purchase a Japanese built, or built in Canada, truck with the last of the original crank the window down or up.

It is a SAFETY FEATURE as well especially if someone ends up in deep water like a lake or river rather then needing a special tool, some place, to bust the window that cannot move, by button/switch, compared to the original crank handle which most people know how to use.

Way to many buttons to do this or that on present cars to trucks. Sometimes they do not work, because of another button accidently pressed.

Very hard to comment on makers of cars right now & especially Honda since it is one of the main leaders with competition behind it.

I was in to have my Subaru 'Forester' lubed & ready for this winter season. One of the salesmen, having time on his hands, showed me the latest 'Forester'. Thing is it so much larger then my '06 model which I like, loaded with a maze of goodies I would not want. True some were outstanding, but in my way of looking at car/truck & just want firm traction on the snow to icy roads & up some steep twisty road to the gun range.

I did not ask him the price, size of the engine or such. JUST in case my vehicle is totalled for now I know I would NOT look at a Forester, but another Jpn maker more close to sensible in my mind.

Work/fun like that can possibly turn out some good engineers in the future that will pay off with their learning abilities at this young age. So my compliments to all.

Any young woman that rides a m/c is tops in my mind. Hope she does well as a reporter. After all some of the leading reporters in many parts of the USA & Canada are women.

The RCMP have ALSO realized that in many cases it was best to have a female Constable explaining matters to the media or people over so many things & YES they are so easy to understand. Obviously top rate speakers.
