I could be wrong but it is a nice mountain from some distance. To a real mountian climber it is not challenging.

Climbed from '48 till '60 basically in the Cdn Rockies in Alberta & B.C., also the USA once. All were a challenge to all of us & enjoyed so much.

The loss of the American troops will hit a lot of people back home in the USA along with fellow troops in Iraq along with those in Afghanistan.

Unfortunately it is now knowen the reason the USA went at taking over Iraq was not WMD or the majority of the Iraq people wanting a Democratic Government. It was for OIL.

Fortunately the USA was in such a hurry to hit Iraq that they did not wait for a vote, in their favour, by the UN. Otherwise troops from most countries of the UN would be not only in Afghanistan but Iraq as well.

Thankfully our Cdn troops are only in Afghanistan lacking the help over over 4,000 or more other troops from France, Germany, Holland, Denmark & such. Plus the Cdns do NOT have choppers to transport troops AND it is troops being killed by land mines.

Wars like this are stupidity for you cannot beat tribes on their home land & the USA has knowen this since the days of Korea with some UN troops.

Betting you do have a point. I use to do a quick dip in the Upper Hot Springs in Banff, Alberta Canada, during the skiing season, & yes often felt a bit dizy.

Thing is finally the light came on THAT was the reason I was with head colds for even in the coldest days, like others, I was hiking in for a shower with my hair all white from being under & above water. Yes I was a bit dumb in my 20s.

No idea of why Japanese car drivers would want to buy a Chrysler. Now as a North American & especially a Cdn one would think Chrysler would be one of my choices, but not so & in my 62 yrs or driving four wheeled vehicles to m/cs I have never taken notice of what Chrysler offered.

True my first was a sort of beaten up '36 Chev panel truck, to a war surplus Jeep, to '53 VW1200 van---needed it at our sportshop in Banff Alberta, & from then on it has been some German to shift to Japanese makes & presently a Subaru 'Forester'.

Could the demand be because of prestige or something different to others??

I am to understand the same is going to be offered to Canadians. If it goes over at the high costs I tend to wonder.

Mind you I only had a bulky Moto rolo or whatever it was called when my Mother was ill & once she passed away I dumped it into the dustbin.

Unfortunately I had payed a year in advance om the '80s, as was in demand at the time. Phoned & the operator said they would only charge me for this month & send back the money for the rest. Most polite of them & openly said that was greatly appreciated & if I ever needed a cellular I would probably join up with them again.

Yes the only phone I have is one hooked up to a wall socket yet being a h/gun director/instructor I am often receiving phone calls from others to even the RCMP for the okay to use the range on such & such days.

TRUE I should be carrying one for I tend to roll out one of my m/c sportbikes & hike up in the four of preferered two lane mountain roads for anything from 5 to 7+ hour runs around 3 to 4 days of a week which riding season is here. A cellular is almost like insurance on a m/c, car, or home & I should have one, but the cost all year around would probably never be used.

Having forked out $3,600.00 in Cdn funds (more money for special eye drops) to have my eyes operated on. Really I was quite happy with my various glasses like my normal bifocals, special glasses for the PC along with reading to another set ground so I can shoot a h/gun better. Problem is my left eye was shot & problem was spreading to the right.

I am not one for much of a change in my ways or how I look. Besides I will admit that probably is why I am such an old bachelor.

Still in mind I honestly feel that people of other nations should feel free to appear normal to their country in appearance & whatever. Had a g/f that was born in north China with one eye way off whack to the other, pretty darn flat on the chest area & same on the butt. Yet while a bit picky on clothing (what woman is not?) she stayed the same & it was her personality that was so impressive. I feel if she had a Roman-like nose she would have not had any operation to make the change. She was herself & loved by all.

If his idea was to make a bank robbery the idea of a 'get-away' car is good thinking ONLY he picked a bad place for a get-away car. I guess that is what happens to some of us older chaps. Being we tend to make slight errors or do not plan things out perfectly.

In truth though I bet you that was another auto cog box car problem of where the driver applied the throttle thinking it was the brakes. This happens so often to people that only drive with automatic trannies AND especially older people though to me being 77+ yrs of age then 67 is NOT old.

True the one error upon the woman was allowing the man into her suite. Still the amazing thing is though she lost some money she save the life of her child & herself, by slipping away. That is the outstanding bit in my mind.

Agree it was a good photo. Probably took the photographer a number of times to get them to all jump or be coming down. No matter what but I am to understand these a JT girls. Then good for them.

Mind you what the coloured plastic balls are I do not know.

This must be at a softball match for that is an underarm pitch typical of Softball. OR it could be for the crazy "Slow-pitch baseball" again with a soft ball & underarm pitch up into the air to sort of fall close to the batter.

How womean can stand on or do something like that with spiked heels I have no idea. Yet a woman can look darn good in a pair or sneakers rather then high heels to throw their back out of line in a while.

This has really been an eye-opener to me & obviously if the same was picked up in other countries, especailly, North America, it will be very hard to understand for we have looked upon Japan to be a land of hard working people & so well organized.

Little did I realize the are he committed the crimes in, is knowen as a pink are of prostitures or so I understand.

See that I mean, by us outsiders NOT knowing what Japan itself is REALLY like as a country? Proving us to be very ignorant of outside of our home land. For beautiful scenery photos are not what Japan is like from one end to the other.

So as a regular of JT since '07 or around that time, I have been learning a lot though in such a vague way. Yet we have a fair number of Japanese people in this area of which some of them are good friends of mine & like me were farmers.

The Govt should put more into trying to help mentally effected people, people without jobs & such, rather then possibly a ban on knives which will never work.

Mind you I doubt if unemployeed people or mentally disturbed people can be helped for one never knows if they fail to take their medications or said medications are wrong for them.

It is a strange world out there & unfortunately we live in it, even if we do not live in said so called dangerous places for they can always change in Japan or different countries.

So THAT is why one filming group were cought in a public greasy spoon place, possibly McDonalds, around a few weeks ago? Little did I realize that “public exposure” was so demanding in the porn world.

Very hard to accept that someone would deliberatly back up their car to hurt children.

For crying out loud they are just children & children will say strange things or funny hands at you-----that is part of the joy in them growing up plus a child is only young for such a short length of time & should be cherished in their children like ways of life.

I drive my SUV or ride my m/c through a school zone so close to me. The grandparents are out with electric signs that will indicate the speed one is travelling. Only once have I recorded 31 KPH by accident & most often I am down to 24kph or about that. Above all I will stop when children are crossing the street or possibly thinking of doing it with no guidence from adults. In several cases I have actually stopped to get off my m/c, to step into the oncomming lane & waved the children on to safety. A small wave of "thank you", from possibly one, is something I will remember for ages.

There are no sidewalks in the short roads to or from my home. So I drive or ride at a darn slow pace for it could be children playing on the paved roads or accidently on the roads like a trycle or bicycle with trainer wheels, or actually playing on the roads, to folks out for a walk or some one or a couple walking their dog(s). Life is important to all & especially children which is something I have never had as I am an old bachelor.

All so hard to accept for these days students to children to adults have the use of the computer world.

Bullying to me, a male, was easy to take care of in past years as I was thicked skinned & experienced in street fighting so I never started class or street fights.

Mind you back some yrs ago bullying was not recognized amongst fenales at school YET it was there & in later yrs the fighting going on in the washrooms of a skating rink, (part of my duties), was beyond belief in the women's section while so rarely in the mens washroom.

Times have change & in their teens so many of the younger people can be hurt by simple words & we, as adults, do not realize how sensative words or looks are to younger people PLUS it is not easy to deal with teen-aged people or understand how they look at things for so many are looking through a different window then us & we do not realize it.

Having played similiar reed instruments, it is surprising that no teacher has suggested they SMILE instead of the bulging cheeks. No kidding it works & did well for me some 10 plus yrs.

I was asked to help some sax & clairnet starters (at a school class) & sure enough bulging cheeks till I told them to smile. Worked on them as well.

These kids should do well when over in Canada as schools like to hear from other school Jazz bands.

I note two Alto sax players & one with a tenor. Strange that one has the smaller Alto sort of between his legs when to the right is best.

I would have to check on the battery life of such a unit & if they are regular, easy to obtain batteries, before I would jump at the idea of buying one, BUT I still keep on thinking of what it is offereing one in aid of helping someone else.

Also would like to see one work & know if it was ideal for my little bit of first-aid training or IF I have to upgrade my training rather then going into such an expense to find IT was beyond my abilities or understanding and can one have the procedure repeated a number of times?

Believe me in the excitement of a friend or loved one needing assistance, often one will panic a bit SO the reason for being up to ITS standards or asking for a repeat on what one is to do next.
