I'm curious to know why were the exes living together? Is that normal in Japan?

Have any foreign women here ever experienced a chikan?
I did once on the Minato-Mirai line, of all places. I had a guy ''accidentally'' fall asleep and grab my knee while I was sitting next to him. A startled jump and a good yelling WTF?! worked for me.
The weird thing was he just looked at me, pulled out a book and pretended to read. Most bizarre experience (O _ o)

So why get together with the mum if he knew she has a kid from a previous relationship? So he can use the kid as a punching bag?
I just think women with kids should be mindful of who they choose as partners. Seriously, it's common sense.

My favorite is not a blog, but a video series called ''Cooking With Dog'' on YouTube. Lots of traditional and yummy Japanese dishes you can learn to cook.

P.S. Those who make the homophobic comments, wonder how many of those you see in Thailand romping around with the ''ladyboys''.
At least Ai is confortable in her skin and happy. How many out there can say that?

I think it's sick that they got away with doing all that to the kids. And ''gomenasai'' to the parents, I don't think would cut it.

@LoveUSA Then you should tell your boss that's happening. And usually Japanese staff is supposed to help with the disciplining of the kids.
I had something similar happen to me at a kindergarten and the teacher nip it in the bud.
So either you're not speaking up or the staff is not helping you, which in that case, look for employment elsewhere.

I agree with perspective. That would make more sense. She probably did forget about her kid then when she remembered, called the cops. This story just doesn't add up. Wouldn't an autopsy be able to pinpoint the time of death?

Oh yes I am on the koseki, because he sent me a copy and also he did register our marriage at the ward office as soon as he returned to Tokyo.
The funny thing is I lived in Japan for 3 years, never got deported or overstayed. So yes it's weird. Even our lawyer finds it a head scratcher.

@dolphingirl Thank you , it means a lot to me.
I hope he can visit me next month. The way things are going we will probably not be able to celebrate our first wedding anniversary together (June 3rd).
I always wonder how is it like to be an Immigration officer or officals and have the deciding word on people's lives like that.
I know there are people who do fraudulent things to get into Japan and the US, which ruins it for everyone else. But still, there are still some of us out there who really love there spouses and loved ones and want to have a life.

Oh wow! Yeah I have about that, like if a Japanese woman or man who has a Gf or BF and want to visit, don't say I'm visiting my GF or BF,because then they will not let you in otherwise.
It's so weird.
Wow come to think of it if when my husband comes to visit me from Japan, he better not say here is here to visit his wife.
