I cannot even imagine trying to get my husband a green card here, especially how complicated Immigration laws are becoming. We had talked about that because of what I said before in my last post.
BTW I am a U.S. citizen.

It makes me angry how in both parts of the world ,red tape and nonsense gets in the way of people being able to have a life with the people they love.

I can sympathize with this woman. I know what it's like to be denied being with a loved one in a different country. I am going through a similar situation. My Japanese spouse and I married 7 months ago here in the U.S. He is in Tokyo, I am here in NY.
I have been denied my spousal visa, even though he married me here, met my family and my adult children from a previous marriage, marriage license, the whole shebang AND registered our marriage in Japan. We even submitted our chat records from last year too. On top of that, I have not seen him in 7 months since we married. Only Skype has been our solace. My husband has been working with an Immigration lawyer in Tokyo on it,but still no dice.
Hopefully our 3rd try will yield something.
So to answer one poster's question, Japan has come up with the same bureaucracy crap as the good ol USA too.
Sorry for the long rant.

I'm female and I have gone to the mens room with or without guys around. Girls take too long to use the bathroom especially in J-land. They have to change their outfit to the one they just bought from the store. So stooooopid!
When I gotta go, I gotta go.
Poor guy,he just wanted to drain the weasel on his way home.

I'm a FF fan! I actually liked FF VIII, don't know why some folks hated it. But of course the best one for me will always be 7. I even played the girlie ones FF-X and X-2 and 9 was adorable.
The only thing I didn't dig about the X-2 series was the whole dress sphere thing. I found it a bit irritating.

My game of choice is Second Life. You can basically do whatever you want there. But I still can have a life too. It depends on the individual. In the article, these folks went through some sort of life setback and decided that the virtual world is better than the real world.

I had an incident on a crowded train where some old dude sitting next to me was falling asleep leaning on my shoulder. I pushed him away. Next thing I know, he ''accidentally'' puts his hand on my knee. And I was wearing blue jeans. I jumped up and yelled at him.
Point is the you don't know what the girl was wearing and these pervs will touch you no matter what you wear. It's all about control with these chikans.

See, I wonder when people like you say stuff like that. Would you say to the police "'Make sure he's well-taken care of and fed'' after he's been on the run for 2 years for killing a family member of yours.
He is the once refusing to eat, thinking going on a hunger strike is going to get him out of this mess.
But as I said before , all bets are off once you take away a life. Done.

Does Japan have laws against aiding and abedding (sp)? Because the cops need to follow that money trail. There is no way he could of evaded capture for so long without a bit of help.
