This is good news that hits close to home. A positive sign that 2012 may not be the end of man's time time here on earth.
In all seriousness. I'l now be able to take out a girl for only 280 yen (560 yen total for two).

Total and absolute incompetence. How can you not look over your shoulder and look at the poster (which has been up for 17 years!) to see the if there's any resemblance or not? Many of the crimes that get "solved" here are perpetrators turning themselves in. The police can't even seem to get this part of "crime fighting" right. Lame.

My above comment regarding this is neutral. I stated under what conditions the US is willing to attack/subvert another country.

Oil is one commodity that the US (and other industrialized countries) are willing to go to war over. Iran should be very cautious about making these kind of threats.

Why hasn't other parts of Japan been considered? Kyushu is actually closer to the Korean Peninsula/Beijing than Okinawa. There's also a lot more vacant area to put in a new base. Even Tottori, Shimane, or Shikoku for that matter.
Honestly, why aren't these options being seriously considered due to the vehement opposition to it being relocated to another part of Okinawa?

I agree with these ministers jumping ship. This party isn't upholding what it promised its supporters/voters in 2009. In fact, I'm having a hard time distinguishing the DPJ from the LDP recently.

Jesus, how many promises can these guys break? They're also going to raise the Hanshin Expressway tolls from 500 to 800 yen in January. They've also rescinded the government subsidized child allowance back down to the local level. Really disappointing and a big backstab to the people who voted them in.

Elbuda Mexicano, your post is pure speculation. You have absolutely no idea what happened other than this girl leaving her baby at a nursery.
I'm glad she decided to do this rather than throwing her baby into the garbage or toilet like we read so many mornings here on JT. I hope she can get to a point in her life where she's ready to raise a kid properly and go back and get her baby.

What I don't understand is that when the current hospital hired her, didn't they know that she had a criminal record for doing this? If so, why hire her?

Also many of the boxers were topped ranked Americans. Where are they? Or is this some kind of a Japan sponsored boxing association?

If these are "world champion boxing matches" why are they only held in Japan? I used to watch WBA championship bouts 20 years ago + and they were often held in Vegas or other locales worldwide. Has something changed? Are these boxers really the top-ranked from around the world?

You're right about the outside lane being used for passing slower cars.
But the problem is, is that these "super speeders" don't give you enough time to pass other cars without first riding dangerously on your back bumper.
Often it takes me 5-20 seconds to pass a slower car if I'm going about 5-10 kilos/hr. faster than the car I'm overtaking.
If these a-holes would just give you a few seconds to safely pass other cars many of these accidents wouldn't happen.
Once again, they not only put themselves in danger but other people and their families in danger due to their impatience and lack of common sense.
