I noticed that Iwakuni is looking more and more run-down each time I visit, especially since the early 90s.

There are quite a lot of shops shuttered now and it doesn't have nearly the "energy" and "life" it had when I was first there in the 70s.

Cool Biz is cool, but setting thermostats to 28c isn't. Set it to 25. My office isn't Cool Bizzed and the air conditioner is set to 23. I'd take off my tie for 25 but wouldn't put up with 28 unless I was on a beach with Cool Beer.

I agree with Sebaschan about Hollywood not risking making a movie without a happy ending.

It makes them predictable and takes away the suspense no matter how great the visual effects are.

Hollywood has forgotten "tragedy". Heroes can and should die sometime!

In my opinion, there's nothing "humiliating" or "sad" about using a leash to help keep your kid out of danger.

I heard how this is supposed to be "inhumane" quite a bit in the US. Where did this kind of thinking coming from?
