They can call conbinis with shorter business hours "fu-conbini."
I think "fu-bini" rolls off the tongue a little better. Don't you think, Sarge?

So having a business that caters to pedophiles is fine,"...there’s always Oimoya, a pedophilia shop on Chuo Street that specializes in girls under 15" as stated in a previous article, but selling some nude pics of your adult self is not fine!?
Japan is truly a unique society.

"Most of you people, I imagine live in Japan. I have a question for you. I live in Hong Kong and have been to Japan six times now. Everytime I go, I can't get over how polite Japanese are.
However, a lot of people I know in Hong Kong, especially Chinese, tell me don't be taken in. It is all very superficial, and it is because I am a visitor and mainly white, and they think I have money.
One white guy from Canada also told me they are very racist.
Any comments?
James Graziano La-Giglia Hong Kong"
James,

The girl in the black skirt's bowing technique is lacking for sure. Looks like she's had one to many customers. Either that or she just got kicked in the stomache.

Is, killing, the answer to all life's problems!!?
Can't get a job? Kill your parents!
Can't get a date? Kill your neighbor or better yet go on a killing spree!
Can't deal with loneliness and/or shame? Commit suicide!
Get caught committing a crime? Hang yourself!
Can't deal with raising a child? Kill it!!
In a land that is predominantly Buddhist, this is a hard pill to swallow. Pun intended.

This is typical "treat the symptoms and not the cause" behavior. Things will only get worse. Typical western thinking from a so called eastern society.

But kids also need the time and space to explore things and make mistakes.
Mistakes that kill!? I would have to strongly disagree. Would you let your children swim in a pool without proper supervision? This is why we have lifeguards isn't it? Sure, let kids learn and explore but don't let the cost of making a mistake be death! Protect them for God's sake!

I'm sorry but there's is no way in hell that I would let my young children play around a river with noone to watch over them. Simply no way in hell!
Clear case of irresponsible parenting in my book.

You'd think that those posts would have set off some bells at the server considering their obvious content. It's looks like he was trying to create an opportunity for someone to catch him, or else he was just writing a "post game highlights" of the events to come.
This whole "I just wanted to kill someone, anyone..." reason is becoming all too common.
Adding his name to ever increasing "suicide rates" would have been my choice for him.

Has anyone here considered the possibility that the baby was still born? Not to condone her actions but it is one thing to abandon a living baby and quite another do abandon a dead one. However, either way you look at it, this woman did something that is near incomprehensible.
But as someone has already alluded to, infanticide is part of the human equation.

The government will ask for the same information that travelers currently fill out on the I-94 card which is handed out on the plane and turned in to customs on arrival in the United States, a DHS official said. That includes such information as passport number, country of residence, disclosure of communicable diseases or involvement in terror activities.
Muuuuuaaaahahaha! Huh? Muaahahaha! I definitely saw this on a "Simpsons" episode once.

I'm on my 6th car in 7 years in Japan, the last one being a new vehicle. I have never had any serious problems with any of them. On the times that I did have some concerns, I simply went back to the dealership. They were more than willing to bend over backwards to take care of any problems.
However...BUYER BEWARE! of some dealerships that will SHAKEN your car at one of their "own" garages. I bought an MR2 from one dealership and I decided to change the muffler a few months later. During the installation of the new muffler the mechanic proceeded to tell me that my car had no emissions control installed in the exhaust system.(Required by law) "WHAT?! But I just bought this car 6 months ago and they gave me a 2 year shaken to go with it!" To say the least the mechanic was as much dumbfounded as I was. I immediately went back to the dealership, told them that I just caught them with their pants down and...to make a not so long story even shorter...they installed a new emissions at no cost followed by a barrel full of "sumimasens" and boot lickings.
I was not a happy camper.

where i diverge from the author is placing the blame solely on the j-mom. i contend the absence of a father or the lack of fathering in any boys life will produce in most cases an unhealthy male adult.
The more domineering and overprotective the mother coupled against the degree of father involvement in the child's life are the determining factors how well a j-boy makes his way through life as an adult.
I couldn't agree more.
Posters here are taking the easy way out and jumping on the "bash the author" bandwagon due to their own lack of ability to come up with a half-way decent response.
People here should think more and spew less.
Well said, VOR
