They have to maintain the subway lines, this is probably done between the last train of the day and the first of the next day hence 24-hour operation is very difficult to achieve.

The thing they should be cracking down on is parents driving with unrestrained children in their cars, that was cracked down on about 20 years ago in all other developed countries.
I saw a woman driving recently while holding her baby in front of the steering wheel. If she had had even a minor bump the baby would have been crushed against the wheel, God knows what would have happened had the airbag gone off.

I heard from a source close to Collins in Hamamatsu that some Brazilian heavies were threatening him because of his romantic involvement with a Brazilian barmaid. He was carrying a knife to protect him from them.

I listen to music or podcasts on the train. Not because I particularly want to but because it is better than having to listen to the incessant, disgusting sniffing going on by what seems like 70% of salarymen in the winter months.
