If by accomplishments, he meant pork-barrel, free-for-all spending he's got it just about right.
Posted in The LDP has historically won elections by promoting its accomplishments to voters, but these days it has so few to mention that its old accomplishments look stale. The LDP will find it difficult to halt a big win for the Democratic Party. at 04:48 PM JST - 23rd July

Geez, what is it with Japanese companies or scientists claiming that they've invented something new and revolutionary when it's been used extensively in "gaikoku" for decades already? Seedless watermelon? They've been around most of my life, and I'm 37. The process is labour-intensive and expensive? Seemingly, North American farmers have…

Hopefully they will return to Japan to tell the J-government about this world-renowned children's hospital in the hope that the treatments available there (particularly organ transplants) might some day be possible in Japan.

Let me guess, a Japanese student went home for a vacation and brought it back with them. How else could 30 Japanese nationals at the same German Intl. school get swine flu in a country that has only 90 confirmed cases?

Several of the first to posted "nailed" the reason for his actions. He wanted to remain in prison, because he was kept warm, given three meals a day, and didn't have to think about how to survive another day on the street. Call him a loser "cheating" the system, but…

Shame a lack of funding will render this project one big (peta)flop. To think of how many foreign residents the government could have monitored with this.

What I never understand about bribed officials in Japan is that they accept so little. If you're going to risk going to jail and losing your 1,000,000 a month mayor's salary, you'd better make sure the bribe is at least a six-figure amount. This guy was bought for $10,000.

The sheer stupidity of the concept of this "product" doesn't stun me as much as the obvious hack job and lack of planning that went into its production (realising, of course that this bra isn't meant to be sold).
Look the crappy way the digital readout has been haphazardly sewn…
