I think Iran must take responsibility for a lot of what Iran is today. They make their own choices. Time and time again the world has provided incentives for Iran to join the international community and time and time again they have declined. You can talk about the British inspired overthrow all you want but you're going to have a hard time convincing me that Iran would have been a beacon of democracy in 2011 regardless of what happened a half century ago. Like I said they make their own choices and they should be held responsible for it. Add all the footnotes you want but it doesn't change anything.

I have to agree about no reclining seats, but I suspect the airlines are already a step ahead of us and planning for that. I flew over 10,000 miles in the past few weeks. On one flight (737-800) when the person in front put their seat back the headrest was so close to my face that I couldn't hold my newspaper in front of me. When I tried to get my bag out from under the seat the distance between my seat and the one in front of me was so small that I had to turn my bag to the side and smush it sideways just to get it up. It was just absurd.
Talk all you want about fat people....I'm sure the airlines enjoy letting you pretend that normal people fly with comfort. I sure don't.

There has been nothing bit diplomacy over the past 5-10 years. Iran has been offered quite a few different packages where they can get the nuclear power they claim they want while receiving substantial aid in the process. They've declined anything and everything that doesn't give them the option of producing nuclear weapons on a moment's notice.
The fact that there has been no breakthrough isn't because the West (and others) have not tried diplomacy. Some people bury their heads in the sand and assume that the other side will surely come around with more and more negotiations. At some point you have to realize that they simply are not responding to diplomacy.

What makes you think I support the death penalty for anyone? I've always been against it, always will be. You are confusing me with a radical liberal. They are against the death penalty until an American is involved, then they talk about the Shah in order to protect Iran from criticism. One does the deed, their partner covers their tracks.

Iranians in general have a positive view of Americans. It's the gay killing Iranian hard liners and western liberals who work as a team to justify the execution of Americans.

Probably just another American murdered by Iranians to give a brief sense of satisfaction to the Iranian hardliners and Western liberals.

It's used for perspective. They probably don't want people to read one story and think that everyone is defending themselves with guns when in fact the opposite is true.

Yep.
The issue is generally looked at by people who actually consider the consequences of a nuclear Iran. If you take yourself out of that circle, that's your choice.
Then trust everyone else who believes Iran is going nuclear, including those countries who did not support the US invasion of Iraq.
If North Korea announced that they have built a nuke and have mastered the ability to drop it anywhere in Japan, would your first thought be, "Gosh, that's fair....can't complain"? I mean other countries have them why not North Korea? China has them and they can strike Japan, so I guess it's only fair the NK is able to do the same. It's only fair and two countries are two countries....nothing distinguishes them at all (apparently).

The number of passengers departing or arriving at US airports in any given year is somewhere north of 700,000,000. Now add up every single TSA or ass-backwards pilot story you can find anywhere on the internet over the last 10 years.
Then do the math.

Whistle blowing is one thing, releasing everything you can get your hands on, most of which involves no crimes at all, then turning it over to a megalomaniac is something entirely different. Stop painting this guy with a fantasy brush. He's not your hero no matter how much you are able to ignore what you're really looking at.
