" The police car made a sudden stop at the toll gate, which led to Abe’s vehicle bumping into it from behind.
Two other police cars and a saloon carrying reporters, which were trailing Abe’s limousine, were also involved in the collision, said the official."
Classic tailgating. Clowns.

Say it isn't so; government is corrupt. And every one of the officials, and their minions who participated, should spend the rest of their corrupt lives on chain gangs at hard labor, including the one at the top.

" In each case, Rogers said, “there was outside affirmation of their intent to commit an act of jihad.” In the Boston bombing, “I believe that happened in the United States,” he said."
And what would so anger someone as to drive them to acts of violence? Is it because they hate liberty, as some previous illustrious leaders have said? Or could it be for the reasons the extremists themselves have stated? To be perfectly clear, acts of violence are abhorrent whether perpetrated by religious radicals or otherwise costumed aggressors.

Jeff, it's even worse if you oppose both the left AND right(neocon) talking points.
No declaration of war has been made since WWII. But that hasn't stopped the empire from getting embroiled in undeclared wars. The bi-partisan urge to embroil the soldiers in another adventure appears overwhelming.

@TheDevilsAssistant, the story has changed so many times it's hard to keep track. One said he had an M-4, another it was a handgun, another said no weapon. Who knows? But we do know the boat was riddled with bullets. There's also the still video-image of him stepping out of the boat seemingly uninjured. But, who knows?
He was seen holding a celphone. Maybe some others did, too.

One of the interesting aspects of this whole terrible thing that has surfaced is the influence of the mysterious Misha character on the elder brother. Family members and a few others have met him, but he has no last name apparently. As purportedly Armenian native, no one in the Watertown Armenian community seems to know him, though he would visibly stand out, being heavy-set, bald, and with a distinguishable red beard. And he has reportedly relocated to somewhere else in the US. I'm sorry, but this missing link seems rather significant. When did he disappear? If his influence was so powerful, why isn't there a manhunt going on?

" Tamerlan was influenced by Misha.
After befriending Misha, Tamerlan gave up boxing, stopped studying music and began opposing the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, according to family members, who said he turned to websites and literature claiming that the CIA was behind 9/11."
So, who is this Misha character? Has he been identified by FBI or CIA and questioned? At the very least he should be a "person of interest" if his influence was so powerfully subversive.
