    This is like suffering through a movie where you know the ending 10 minutes in and you can't leave.

    So the GOP has a multiple cheater, a guy that bankrupts companies, and a guy that is willing to let people die that don't have insurance.

    What a great choice.

    Time to give up and focus on 2016.

    Perhaps a Perry/Palin ticket? :-)

    Questions for you: Ron Paul has done real well. Why is he STILL failing to get any decent coverage in the press?

    No, seriously, Ron Paul hasn't been getting any bigtime press coverage due to decisions made my media execs re: who they are going to air news about.

    This has next to nothing to do with "independants."

    I find it amusing to see Republicans/conservatives who didn't have the time of day for Mittens now swear with passionate zeal that he'll crush the president in the general election.

    Those GOPers really know how to fall into line.... LOL

    The funniest thing about this is that all us “Global Liberals” knew it was going to be Mitt waaaayyyy before the vast majority of conservatives could wrap their brain cell around it. Everyone else in the primary was/is nuts so us Libs shouldn’t forget to feign terror of Mitt to help conservatives feel good about themselves. :-)

    Honestly, the naivety among conservatives is very, very impressive.

    Mittens: Has done an about-face on every single social issue in the book.

    Newt: Where do you even begin to discuss this guy's flipflops, hypocrisy, wife-hating, black-denigrating, Palestinian-denying 'tude?

    Perry: Makes GWB look intelligent - and that's impossible.

    Santorum: The social candidate. But how will banning abortion and sodomy create jobs? Rick has still to address this.

    As I think I said last week, conservatives wear ignorance and stupidity as a badge of pride.

    Rome's burning and they can't even smell the smoke.

    I admire GOP/TP job creation strategies for their simplicity.

    When the president and Democrats propose a job creation strategy, the GOP/TP simply say "N."

    That's simple.

    Oh sorry, the GOP/TP just want to make the rich richer and help pad the "job creators" offshore investment accounts.

    And it's the TP that is splintering the Right, and both the GOP and TP that is kicking hard-working Americans in the guts by not supporting any type of job-creation legislation whatsoever.

    Add to that, the Right's "Cut taxes!" mantra is idiotic almost beyond belief - GWB cut taxes and look what happened - recession. Seems conservatives have extremely short memories.

    The current crop of GOP/TP representatives has been the most destructive, anti-American political group in recent memory.

    Game, set, and soon match to the Democrats.

    Personally, I was floored he could be so naive. He's been around in U.S. politics for decades and has been the author of a lot of mud-slinging and negativity himself. To think that he even for a moment thought he could differentiate himself by 'going positive' was funny even before he tried it.

    Agreed. All it does is hide the blatantly obvious reality that when it comes to plans and strategies to move America forward, the conservative Right doesn't actually have any.

    Almost as sad, it seems conservative voters don't even care that their representatives are clueless.

    In fact, they wear ignorance and hate as a badge of pride.

    Amazing to see U.S. politics sink so low.

    Americans deserve better.

    Pretty funny - the GOP nomination has proven the old adage: If you can fool them once, you can fool them again (Cain) **and **again (Bachmann) and again (Perry) and again (Newt) and again (Santorum) and again (Mitt).

    Where I come from, anyone who falls for stuff that many times would probably be on the funny farm.

    In America, the same types are fans of Fox News. :-)

    Pretty pitiful that there's conservatives out there who actually think Mitt (or someone else) actually has an ice cube's chance in hell of winning.

    Whoever wins in the GOP primaries is going to see their career flushed down the toilet quicksmart.
