Amazing - I just read Gingrich says he would haev federal judges arrested if - as president - he thought they had made idiot decisions.
Would he object if he was arrested for the same reason?

What a waste
Americans can lay the blame for this sorry excuse for a ‘mission’ at the feet of bush, cheney, etc. and their conservative pawns who voted them in and threw their support behind a war that should never have been fought.
And let’s not forget the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis who lost their lives, were displaced and who have had their lives, health and future wrecked by the invasion.
Let’s hope no one comes on here, disgraces themselves and highlights their lack of knowledge by trying to hype this up as some kind of ‘liberation.’

I often read this, that politician XYZ-san has to get the 'agreement of the public.'
Anyone know what this means exactly?
Obviously it DOESN'T mean actually asking the public because - hey - that would that would be democratic.
My guess is it means 'gaining majority support from concerned politicians.'
Which in this democratic nation, of course, means 'wheel out the brown envelopes.'

If Obama didn’t demand the plane back, conservatives would have branded the president weak on terror.
As it is, they still brand him weak on terror despite him taking out most of the AQ top management, something that the GOP could never do.
If Newt was president, Iran would probably be glass, the ME would be aflame, and the U.S. economy would be in the tank.
Oh wait, the GOP already put the economy in the tank under bush.
Talking tanks, but things would be different under Mitt.
Mitt would only have found out a week after the event when he had finally finished explaining off his latest litany of flip-flops. Then, only after he had ordered his butlers to tidy up the palatial yard behind his house, he might have got around to adjusting his toupee before stumbling out to the Tank to get a briefing from his defence boys.

Seems like the soft-on-terror GOP/TP and their 'supporters' are too busy deciding which wife-cheating, flip-flopping anti-American candidate to throw in the ring against president Obama to worry about this important event in the war againstterrorism.
It's hard to know what's more closed - conservatives' minds or the coffin that is their 2012 election chances.
Really, where are the GOP candidates on this issue? Anywhere?
