    How would he know information is being hidden if he doesn't know about it???

    Anyway, Japan has only signed up to "participate" in discussions, not the trade pact itself.

    I have full confidence Japan will join.

    True, that was until Ozawa launched a masterful campaign involving going into the countryside to campaign before the DPJ won. He was instrumental in swinging the majority of Japan’s agriculture community to vote for the DPJ for the first time.....I think in history. He deserves credit – and a lot of it – for that fact alone.

    I’m not sure this is correct, but last time I read, the farming sector accounts for something like 2.5% of Japan’s GDP. If that is the case, it’s a very small player.

    I see the introdiuction of larger scale more productive farms, possibly very large Government-subsidized co-ops. I read recently there is a move of young businesspeople investing in farms – a very interesting development imo.

    Q: Do any of these GOP candidates actually have passports? Have any travelled outside America?

    I'm asking, because when I read about their foreign policy ideas and proposals, I get a very clear idea that they have been getting their view of the outside world from Hollywood movies.

    Being a conservative means standing aside as the GOP works hard to strengthen America’s enemies by taking out those enemies’ worst enemies (Iran, Iraq) on the U.S. taxpayers’ dime, weakening America by engaging in massively expensive conflicts without paying for them, and then being too ill-informed to understand why doing the above is so damaging..

    Surrender, it’s the conservative way.

    lol" Obama blows all of them out of the water in foreign policy.

    Amazing, foreign policy used to be a strong GOP talking point, but since Obama took over and took out bad guy after bad guy, the GOP has completely surrendered foreign policy.

    This debate will no doubt show what a bunch of total no hopers the GOP has become.

    BTW, I’m curious as to what former pizza chain CEO Herman Cain’s view on fighting terrorists is…

    Sorry mate, anyone who has been keeping half an eye on the news over the last 2 years will instantly know that is flat out wrong. It’s largely been the GOP/TPs complete failure and refusal to do anything at all good for the people they deceitfully pretend to represent that has led a once great nation to the brink.

    Not if the other GOP/TP candidates don’t destroy him first, which is looking more likely by the day.

    It won’t be long now before you’ll be watching Obama’s second inauguration speech.
