The best chance the family has to get this resolved is to get Tennessee's elected officials involved. You can go around and around with the bureacracy but a call from a Senator's office inquiring on the case gets quick results.

Pink's Twitter message after the show said it perfectly:
"Kanye West is the biggest piece of shit on earth. Quote me. My heart goes out to Taylor Swift. She is a sweet and talented girl and deserved her moment. She should know we all love her. Beyonce is a classy lady. I feel for her, too. It's not her fault at all, and her and Taylor did their thing. And douche bag got kicked out."

Obama had nothing new to offer in his speech. The mainstream media journalists seemed to love it.

The annoying thing about Obama is that he is so full of himself. Take this segment of his speech to the students:
Your families, your teachers, and I are doing everything we can to make sure you have the education you need to answer these questions. I’m working hard to fix up your classrooms and get you the books, equipment and computers you need to learn. But you’ve got to do your part too. So I expect you to get serious this year. I expect you to put your best effort into everything you do. I expect great things from each of you. So don’t let us down – don’t let your family or your country or yourself down. Make us all proud. I know you can do it.
Can someone tell the man that the election is over and he doesn't have to take credit for everything and place himself at the center of every issue?

It is funny how the media is so desperate to cover any Republican lawmaker in a sex scandal that they are down to covering the sordid details of an unknown State assemblyman.

The stolen tankers could not have been allowed to fall into Taliban hands. They would have been used in attacks on Afghan government or NATO forces. The Germans did the right thing calling in the air strike.

This article somehow fails to mention that Van Jones was describing himself as a revolutionary communist as recently as last year. The guy was a loser, but don't feel sorry for himself. He'll fall back into a lucrative position with a Soros-funded group.

Internment of Japanese citizens was hardly an action that just the United States took. Canada and other nations did the same thing. In fact life in the Canadian camps was much harder.

It was one crime scene investigator in the house when the TV was taken from the yard. Unless the police department is now issuing an extra set of eyes for the back of the investigator's head, there is not much he could have done about it.

Wow. That comment says more about you than the story. Why such elitist hostility towards the lower class? Sorry these victims didn't reside in the apparent comforts of your world.

Say whatever you want about Harley Davidson it is still an awewsome sight to see a large group of outlaw bikers on a run riding their Harleys fast and in tight formation down the highway. No other bike will substitute.

Unfortunately that was his prognosis with the National Health Plan care. Now that al-Megrahi's away from there he'll probably live to 100.

The Wall Stree Journal this week had a story on the difficult adjustment for former Lehman employees under their new boss Nomura. One issue was jealousy and resentment over the differences in pay. Division chiefs for Nomura are paid around $250,000/year while their Lehman counterparts made tens of millions. It is impossible to justify the Wall Street excess.
As for smithinjapan's comments, a better example of cowardice and hypocrisy is Obama blaming Republicans for holding up health care "reform" when Democrats control the House and have a filibuster proof majority in the Senate.

In the case of U.S. embassies, the charge d'affaires is the top diplomatic officer and has the deep knowledge of the local scene. Having an ambassador with good connections to the White House is very important.
