Long before Akachan-posts came along, I think there were temples and shrines to do the job... There are also 120 or so orphanages for babies called the Nyuuji-in. I saw that there's even one in Shinjuku.

If the mother was familiar with internet cafes, she could've at least checked these places and asked for help...

    Sarge, I second that.

Actually, it was here a while ago, but it's gone now.

Sorry, but we got a whole bunch of these "junks" at home. The ice cream maker, sushi-roller, gyoza-maker(not the roller in this article, but one that folds up to make the perfect gyoza!) and a sandwich sealer.

Most of them Christmas presents or something, so 3000 yen is nothing.

While I do all this with my own hands, the little ones enjoy helping out using these gadgets. We also use them for parties, and the kids love it. :)

Paris, Asashoryu, and Koizumi(ex-PM). All of the past.

The LDP doesn't need saving now. It will only be out for a couple of years, maybe even months, then will regain power. Not because they're great, but because the hopes are too high for the DPJ and they can't do any thing to change the system LDP has laid on Japan over their decades of ruling.

I saw this in the morning news. Too bad there's no cockpit where you can sit in. They should have put this beside the cockpit-only exhibit shown at the AICHI Expo.

BTW, I think it's Shiokaze Park, not Shikaze.

Moderator: Yes, indeed. It has been corrected.

You'll never see a high speed chase here in Japan. The cops here I think are under too much pressure not to overdo things. They are "not" supposed to try to catch the suspect if there's even a hint of the guy going to extremes and getting himself or others killed.

You know, like the guns they carry. They're not supposed to shoot unless it's ABSOLUTELY necessary...

Yeah, this is old news, but the freezer and the fridge versions are fairly new to me. Glad we don't have it in our office... straight to Metabo!

They once said that HK Disneyland could put an end to the success of Tokyo Disneyland.

By taking away tourists from mainland China and other asian countries.

    Guess not.
