Japanese people do not like to share personal info online because some wacko will find something to criticize about and put it on 2ch. Then it will become some online fiasco. I've had my name and my address posted on 2ch by some crazy saying that they will come and kill me and bury me under the Tokyo bay. I went to the police but they did nothing. They said, the guy probably isn't serious. ok..
Anyhow, I've always felt that SNS site such as facebook and mixi are pretentious and tiring.
Either some of your friends will get jealous of you for doing A or not doing B. But it's all subliminal.

I agree with you! They need more informative channels like discovery channel, history channel and etc. NHK plays good programs sometimes but private TV channels are waste of time.

Well that's part of the picture but not the whole picture. Japan went to pursue the wrong ideology of colonialism 1st) to defend against the west and 2nd) to gain territory and resources trying to become a colonial power.

Two things: 1) I can't sympathize with the mother for going to the U.S to get her Greencard renewed. What was she thinking? 2) Fathers interview freaked me out. He does not look like a normal dude. Maybe I am biased but pedo came to my mind.
