Isn't the global market a 2 way street? If the US is going to establish bills and provisions for "Buy American", then shouldn't they have to ban the equivalent amount of exports and/or exports revenue? "Here world, buy our products but we won't buy yours"... is that what this provision is saying? Someone please tell me I'm wrong.

...exactly my thoughts as well. 15,000 jobs at Panasonic means how many more jobs for Panasonic-related companies who supply parts, materials, machines, and services will be lost? This is HUGE.

All I'm wondering is: Now that GM will receive federal aid, will CEO Rick Wagoner work for a $1 per year salary as he promised back in December? ...I think he should have worked for a dollar per year regardless of the financial aid, but that's just my opinion...

Hanami parties are a reason to get drunk and eat outside with friends, family, co-workers, look at hot women (or men I guess), oh yeah, and look at the pretty flowers.
Don't go outside.
That just can't be true. Tom Cruise appreciated bushido in "The Last Samurai".
...why all the negativity?
Baa-hum-bug!

Notimpressed, "Get some help Japan..." "...Japan seems to be the ‘batty old oyaji that everyone tries to pretend is someone elses problem’" Yes, Japan is getting worse for crimes like this, but how are you going to change the social culture of a small island country with a population of 130 million, occupance since 30,000BC, and a formal national state since 700 AD??? "Get some help Japan"??? I hope you're not American because I shouldn't even have to start to remind you what crime is like in the US. Freedom is one thing, but shootings, drug raids, and car chases everyday is another... I hope Japan never becomes like that.

I absolutely agree with you guys... they didn't die in vain if you consider the different (economic) agendas of the Iraq war that no one can/will mention.
Furthermore, “And he bears the responsibility for the decisions that he made and he also bears the responsibility to continue to focus on succeeding.”
1) It's too late. 2) Why is the spokesperson saying this and not Bush? 3) Other than monetary compensation to military families, exactly how is Bush going to take responsibility????? (wouldn't removing himself from office be the next biggest way of taking responsibility instead of staying in office and making things worse?)
