I'm wondering, if sarah enters the campaign, will she finish it?

She doesn't have the best track record of closing the loop on things.

I can't think of a Japanese Will Ferrell, Bill Murray or Chris Farley.

I don't see this going well.

    USNinJapan,

Considering the mileage I've put on ol' Duke, I'm not all that worried about it getting stolen. It's been a great car to me though.

Well, like a broken clock being right twice a day, Paul got this one right.

Let the PATRIOT Act die. It's unconstitutional.

The world famous Roswell “incident” was no UFO but rather a Russian spacecraft with “grotesque, child-size aviators” developed in human experiments by Nazi doctor and war criminal Josef Mengele, according to a theory floated by investigative journalist Annie Jacobsen.

I find aliens from another planet to be a more believable explanation than that.

I tried the new version on several computers several times over the past year and I have to admit that it really was SLOWER, glitchier, and tended to freeze up on me in ways that the current Yahoo Mail does not.

    I couldn't agree more.

They showed a lot of storm chaser footage on CNN. I watched a semi-trailer literally disintegrate when a twister hit it. It was surreal. I've never seen anything like it.

I read somewhere that the 2002 Ford Explorer is the most stolen car in America.

    Guess what I drive?

House Majority Leader eric cantor said Monday that if Congress passes an emergency spending bill to help Missouri’s tornado victims, the extra money will have to be cut from somewhere else.

“If there is support for a supplemental, it would be accompanied by support for having pay-fors to that supplemental,” Mr. cantor, Virginia republican, told reporters at the Capitol. The term “pay-fors” is used by lawmakers to signal cuts or tax increases used to pay for new spending.

I'm notoriously hard on the republican party at this site but this is a new low.

When I was growing up, I used to see commercials on TV asking for people to send money to help starving children in Africa. Now I watch TV commercials asking for money to help starving children in America. This should not be happening. Do they have no conscience at all?

I caught the president's speech today at work. It was very inspiring. Made me (even more) proud to be an Irish-American. He really hit it out of the park.

The former two-term governor brags that he “moved our Democratic state in a conservative direction.”

Yep, after Tim-meh, Minnesota elected Sen. Amy Klobachar (D) and Sen. Al Franken (D) (liberal).

So, he can't even make that boast after all. Poor Tim-meh.

Correction, Minnesota dropped from number 1 to number 2 in livability under Tim-meh.

Not as bad of a drop as I previously stated.

The former two-term governor brags that he “moved our Democratic state in a conservative direction.”

I wouldn't brag about taking Minnesota from being number 1 in the nation in education and leaving it at number 13. I wouldn't brag about taking the state that ranked number 1 in the Morgan Quinto state rankings and leaving it ranked number 7.

Granted, Tim-meh had only one direction to go, and it was down. But he did it so well. His legacy will always be the 35W bridge collapse. Minnesota was known for its infrastructure too. Not any more.

So yeah Tim-meh, you made Minnesota more conservative all right, as in worse.

Pawlenty doesn't stand a chance. He couldn't even win re-election to Minnesota governor without lying and cheating during his campaign againgst Mike Hatch.

If he had to do that just to become governor of Minnesota, how is he supposed to become president?

Just another in republican clown parade.

which he rescued by shuttering hundreds of restaurants.

    Some job creator.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Where was he making the jobs? Did the unemployment office have to sfaff one more person after he shuttered all the local restaurants to take in the overflow of unemployed people? Are those the jobs they are talking about? He didn't create any at any of his restaurants.

Funny how facts can get turned into something thing that is completely fact-free here at JT.
