ricky santorum went on record that john McCain doesn 't really know how EI works. A McCain aide, Mark Salter, responded on Facebook, saying, "For pure, blind stupidity, nobody beats Santorum. In my 20 years in the Senate, I never met a dumber member, which he reminded me of today," MSNBC reported.

One has to wonder why the outrage all of a sudden? Why the outrage when Pres. Obama does something that Pres. Clinton and bush attempted? What makes Pres. Obama SO different?

From a story in The Atlantic:

I'm feeling a certain Groundhog Day effect here. This has been the basic idea for at least 12 years. This is what Bill Clinton, Ehud Barak and Yasser Arafat were talking about at Camp David, and later, at Taba. This is what George W. Bush was talking about with Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert. So what's the huge deal here? Is there any non-delusional Israeli who doesn't think that the 1967 border won't serve as the rough outline of the new Palestinian state?

So why now?

we could start with restoring faith in the banking system of the U.S., giving the U.S. auto industry enough of a lifeline to see them return to making profits in just two years, reinvigorating the regulatory system that was at the very heart of the collapse of the housing bubble, enacting a health-care bill that makes providing benefits to employees in small businesses like mine much more affordable. All that, and bin Laden too.

I've always admired a man who started out in life with only a few hundred million dollars in real estate and has managed to transform that into a few hundred million dollars in real estate.

With the help of a couple of bankuptcies.

Clearly this is a statement born out of irrationality. President Obama has enjoyed a nice bump to 51% approval according Real Clear Politics. How is that bad poll numbers?

I wonder why Gadhafi has never made himself a general? Does he just like the ring of COL. Gadhafi? It DOES roll off the tongue rather easily, I have to admit. General Gadhafi just doesn't flow. I guess I can see why he stuck with Colonel.

And the Republicans are desperately seeking that "anyone" and are coming with "Nobodies."

Rudy 9iu11iani is even exploring a run. It's like if they add up all their tier-2 and tier-3 level candidates, they can create some sort of super-republican. One thing's for sure, the super-republican would be a white male, with Romney's hair (he's got presidential hair, you gotta give the man that).
