Those right wingers are laughable. Show the movie and show Japanese people what archaic, horrific practices are happening in their backyard.

Japan up to its old tricks again. Wake up Japan! Your tired old arguments, your vote-buying, your refusal to consider the environment...what's wrong with you? As I always find myself saying...I love Japan but I hate its attitude to tuna, dolphins and whales. A country as modern, sophisticated and educated as Japan and they still insist on wearing their blinkers! Get with it!

Anti-abortionists...why don't they get a life and fight for something worth fighting for?

He's such a cranky pants. I'm tired of seeing his mean face on TV.

When something is seen to be wrong, in the past the colonialists simply passed a law from on high; today you first let people know about the problem, then you get them to understand that it's wrong if it isn't bloomin' obvious in the first place, then you get them to outlaw it. Films like The Cove are the first step.

Hear! Hear! Couldn't have said it better myself.

Japan with all its ranting about "tradition" and "culture" is sickening. Get over it! The immense cruelty and the mercury issue should be enough to make any sane person well up with rage.

While these kind of matters do not get tackled we will continue to live in an unjust and cruel world. Of course we cannot create a "perfect" world but at least we can try.

Praise to these wonderful people who took the initiative, and the risk, to film this documentary. I have only admiration for them, unlike the naysayers who sit at home never doing one thing to help any cause.

What does he see in her? She's one of the most irritating "tarento" (and, she doesn't seem to have much of that...talent, that is) in the industry.

Go Greenpeace! Whales ARE worth fighting for. If you critics out there needed somebody to fight for you wouldn't you want someone to do exactly that? You kind of selfish, apathetic, lazy people make me sick.

The shame is not their outfits, not their ages, not their hairstyles, not their anything except their choice to support the evil, evil, evil Shiseido who has an appalling reputation for animal experimentation. Shame on the three of them!

X Japan's music encourages me everyday. I listen to very little music but their's. I thank them everyday for their beautiful melodies and lyrics. I know you some of you deride them and that is your perogative. However, I wish Toshi all the very best and hope that, with the support of all who respect him, he will recover from this.

We are X!!! Ganbatte Toshi. Ganbatte!
