Saborichan -- I cannot think of any cutting-edge pharmaceutical companies that are Australian, can you? Reshaping America to more equally (but undeservingly) to distribute wealth stiffles incentive, motivation and innovation. Profit motive drives innovation; pure and simple. In America, hard work, either through owning your own business or long years of academic study has been the foundation of getting ahead in life -- not sitting around waiting for a government handout. For many liberals and excuse is better than an achievement. That is because and achievement no matter how great, leaves you having to prove yourself in the future. But an excuse can last for a lifetime! So liberal posters, want a little enlightenment, read some books and articles written by Thomas Sowell, a black economist -- liberals need to listen to him instead of always being critical of opposing views...

I'm not politically correct -- just correct! Now anything a monderate or relatively conservative says in criticism of the current administration gets shot down by "secular progessive" Democrats as racist.

In about a year people are going to wake up and say "we don't want to live in Sweden" where the state decides everything for you. Socialism saps the will and motivation out of the human spirit. Most people in Scandinavia look and act like they are on Valium 24/7.

Of course, minimum safety nets should be in place, like extended unemployement insurance and job training, but B. Hussein Obama's long-term devious scheme is to increase handouts to "welfare mammas" and minorities in an attempt to reshape the electorate.

Moderator: It is not necessary to use Obama's middle name.

Where else is China going to put its money? Euros? LOL The Chinese would rather put a gun in their mouth then invest in a European company where employees think working over 30 hours a week constitutes a human rights violation...

I don't think any of the posters are over 80 so their only experience of the event is through what they learned at school or watching tear-jerking Hollywood movies. After the "sneak" attack on Pearl Harbor we can never understand the mind-set of the general population towards Japanese living in the U.S.

Back in 1941 a large percentage of the Japanese living in the U.S. could not speak English and many still had strong allegiance to Japan. In actuality they were asked to move away from coastal areas, but refused to do so. (Don’t ask me to prove this, try reading up on a subject before you spew out an uninformed opinion) Sure internment of all Japanese was regrettable, but the US government had no way of knowing how many were spies and reporting vital information back to Japan -- that ultimately would have lead to more American losses.

Of course, the bleeding heart, liberal posters don't talk about the American servicemen who were possibly not killed due to this interment. Democracy has its price: America lost over 100,000 servicemen in the Pacific War defending democracy in a war Japan started. Did any Japanese die while suffering the inconvenience of interment? They should drop to their knees and thank God we did not follow the German way of dealing with people that they perceived as undesirable...

    SezWho2,

Playing the race card by saying someone's statement is "somewhat racist" is exactly what scaring white Americans -- as soon as we criticize, we're racists. I'll like to exercise my 1st Amendment right without getting shot down by people floating around in their self-righteous ether...

    SezWho2,

I didn't say Obama "needs" to explain why he married a black women. I would like the hear why he chose to marry a black women. Please don't read into my comment more than I actually wrote...

Its the Tiger Woods syndrome. Both he and Obama act like they didn't have non-black mothers. Since Barry grew up in Hawaii he never experienced racial prejudices of the average "black American." I'd love to hear Obama explain why he married a black women -- he is half white after all, so he could have married either...

Makiko Tanaka! I could just see her grabbing Kim Jong Illness by the throat and saying "give me the abductees or I'll show you how a human rights violation feels."

SushiSake3: Not exactly. In the 2000 Census it was determined that 1 to 2% of the people did not answer the door since they were either to stupid, too old, illegal aliens or criminals (or as I like to call them -- the Democratic Party base) so the Dems want to institute a new system of estimation whereby non-respondents are counted as the general average of the neighborhood. If someone does not answer door in a neighborhood of hispanics (for example) where there are an average of 6 persons in the household, the non-respondent is counted as such...

Obama's Marxist leanings are now showing their colors. Its all about the census -- control that and you control the vote. The Dems are trying to turn America into a one party dictatorship.

saboichan -- I bet you watch "The View" with Barbara WaWa. They praise single motherhood as long as the kids aren't theirs. I'm guessing 90% of the press about this whack-job women is negative. What she needs now is a good psychiatist and a hysterectomy to permanently prevent her from conceiving any more children or being a surrogate mother...
