The problem with patent "mapping" software is it will not indemnify the results; only the opinion from a licensed patent attorney can be really trusted. The software is a good tool (and there are plenty of mapping tools on the market) but in the end, and experienced IP attorney is essential in rendering an infringement opinion...

If this guy was in China, you would find him on his knees ready to take a bullet in the back of the head. The Chinese are now the worst example of uncontrolled growth & environmental pollution -- only spending their new-found billions to build up their military.

What a joke "her accomplishments as a writer" most of her books were on poetry and the few law books she "authored" were probably written by ghost writers -- how can you write about the law if you were NEVER a practising attorney. Besides, if Patterson gives her the seat (over Andrew Cuomo) he will undoubtable face Cuomo in a primary fight in two years AND if he wins, he'll have to probably face Gulliani in the general election -- lots of luck...

Borscht My 20+ years of living here has taught me one thing: news organizations do not have all the facts and the police only disclose information that is convenient for them. There is a motive for (almost) every crime, even the sadistic ones. An isolated incident where an entire family is murdered has all the trappings of some sort of revenge killng or could be due to unpaid debts, but we will probably never know...

2009 is going to be an ugly year. Recovery will take at least three years to begin. First the temps are being let go, then it will be the over 50 regular workers -- bonuses will become a thing of the past. And just wait until Obama puts the US government printing presses in high gear to print that 2 to 3 trillion dollars for public works projects -- I project the yen will shoot up to 75 by the summer of next year....

I'll bet my winter bonus not one of those laid off contact workers were university-trained engineers. Contract workers are generally have low-skills and they know the score when they are hired. Its a shame they lose their jobs, but as some posters pointed out, companies are in business to make a profit, not to run a welfare facility. Want job security, go to Europe where the onerous employment rules have lead to double-digit unemployment for the last 15 years...

What gives here the right to make such a request? Her father takes a bullet in the head, so we have to keep the Kennedy legacy going? Anyone ask, whe she doesn't run for her uncle's senate seat in Massachusetts when he joins Maryjo. Andrew Cuomo is vastly more qualified.

As I mentioned earlier, the Iraqis are an ungrateful bunch of half-wits. Over 4,200 Americans died mostly at the hands of radical Islamists who want to subjugate the entire population to some wacko-version of the Islam where the only tolerance is intolerance.

If Jesus were born today in secular progressive USA his parents would be arrested for child neglect and the three kings would be looked at suspiciously as possible pedophiles. That's how ridiculous its become in the western world. Lets face it religion (not the believe in a God) was invented to control people. But sometimes they have good ideas like holidays where we should be nice to each other no matter what invisible man we pray to...

Sarge -- yes, I know the driver is 100% at fault, but he should be in all cases. The old people I see are oblivious to cars.
