At least many of America's wealthiest are generous with their money like the Gates, Warren Buffett, and many of the titans of the early 19th century. I don't think we can say the same for wealthy people in other countries, especially Japan where they hold on to every yen until the bitter end and the government takes most of it...
And to those who whine about life not being fair; its not, so buck up and get used to it. The difference between those who suceed and those that fail isn't what they have -- it's what they choose to see and do with their resources, time and their experience of life.

I wonder if Aijalon was his original name. It was so weird, I had to look it up: The Biblical baby name Ajalon is Hebrew in origin and it's meaning is place of gazelles or deer field. Ajalon is also called Aijalon in the Bible. Ajalon is pronounced ah-jaw-lone' If it is his real given name, he must have some real whack-job religious nut parents to saddle their kid with that name. Sounds like a character in the new Star Wars movie...

Things started downhill for Greece 2,000 years ago.
I can give the posters and idea of how Japan got in such a mess. I was told that for every civil servant you see, there are two hiding. That's why when JR went private decades ago, they laid off 65,000 workers (25% of their workforce at the time) and everything still operated normally...

I want whatever Jero was smoking when he chose that outfit. But I have to admit, at least he thinks about his appearance. Most Western male singers look like they have been sleeping in a cardboard box under a bridge just before they've stepped out on stage...

Both ロキソニン and ボルタレンare nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs used for short-term treatment of mild pain. For sciatica or a herniated disc these medications are wholly inadequate. In Japan, doctors can dispense Class 1 narcotics only for post-operative surgery or terminal cancer pain management...

They should arrest the doctor that treated his wife. Sciatica is a manageable illness under the proper care of a physician. Medication for paim management is virtually non-existent in Japan. She was probably given the usual quack treatments...

I'm curious; all the N. Korean generals have their uniforms covered in medals, but they never fought a war. The N. Korean army would probably fold like a cheap suit in about 24 hours of combat. The enlisted men will probably turn on the officers within days...

For foreigners (other than Chinese or Korean speakers) it is virtually impossible to gain the language skills (especially reading & writing) starting in your 20's. As many posters stated, the Japanese government just wants a fresh batch of grunt labors every few years. The last thing the government wants is foreigners with very proficient language skills assimilating in this society. Eventually they want to replace the foreign grunts with robots. Why else would Japanese companies pour millions into humanoid robot research?

California (and L.A.) is on the verge of financial collapse and the City Council wastes their time on this crap. I love how these liberal posters condemn Arizona for protecting it citizens. I'm sure you or any of your loved ones have never had a medical emergency and were in need of a hospital emergency room, but had to wait there for hours because of freeloading illegals. Let me clue you MSNBC-lovers in on the fact that people who come into America illegally are thumbing their noses at the thousands of immigrants who are on waiting lists to come here legally. The reality is the Democrats want to put all illegals on a path to citizenship to increase their support base. Seal the border first, then work out a fair plan that will allow working illegals to stay with restrictions -- but not citizenship.
