No, the mechanism for double-sided printing is quite complex and costly. Besides, due to ink absorbency issues, double-sided printing is better left to laser printers...

I think the Pope took a page out of Japanese politician's play book. He was in charge of handling these types of cases when he worked in the Vatican, but now he claims he never heard of the case in his own former parish. Also, his apology (in Colonel Klink English) sounded hollow...

If you are in your 80's and are happy this bill passed, you will have to wait four more years to receive any of the benefits! That is the Democrat way of sticking it to seniors. BTW Democrat Anthony "the weasel" Weiner would not answer Bill O'Reilly's question about the IRS having the power to penalize people who cannot prove they have (US) health insurance. That will be $750 per dependent -- even for your posters living out of USA...

Some of the posters failed to mention the great benefit foreigners living over seas can expect: If you cannot proved you have medical insurance (in the US) you will be assessed a $750 penalty (per person) when you file your US tax return.

Sailwind, sounds like you are a fan of Ayn Rand. You probably read Atlas Shrugged. Health care is not a right. When people expect government to given them rights, government can also take them away. Our founding fathers knew this...

What does $30 billion buy? Certainly not any influence in Israel. That's how much military aid we have agreed to give them over 10 years. Think of it as giving your child $100 and they giving you the finger. Cut off aid, and maybe they will take notice that they cannot call all the shots even if it is their country...

And what's the deal with Obama's supposed "aunt" from Kenya who has been here illegally for years. I heard they keep delaying her final appeal for deportation hearing (while she mooches off government benefits).

I think is should be renamed "heath care system reform" since health care in America (if you can afford it) is the finest in the world; its the system of allocating care that needs fixing. God help you if you have anything remotely complicated wrong with you in Japan. I had to have skin cancer removed in the US using the Mohs procedure and believe it or not, no doctor in Japan knew how to perform the surgery -- which took all of 20 minutes in the doctor's office. Everyone here has access to "health care" but the quality leaves much to be desired...

Nothing will improve under the "company sponsored" Olympic athlete system. Japan needs to look at Korea; why could they win three times as many medals?

The problem with (most)Japanese Olympic athletes is they are just salarymen in uniforms. They need to be driven and motivated like the figure skaters. Mark my words, we'll see a slew of TV programs talking about what went wrong...
