I would gladly write up a review of the days actions for JT, I'm sure plenty of us would be able to do a decent job of it, I miss seeing daily updates even if they are fairly concise ones.

First time since 2001 that any Maegashira ranked sumo has won as well. Outstanding performance, there can't be too many older rikishi to win a yusho at all, let alone their first.

It was a fantastic game! Dortmund looked so good, if the team can stay together for the next few years they will be devastatingly good.
Kagawa to United must surely be drawing close now though

The J-League will continue to be far better than the Chinese Super League because of the overall quality of every team.
Having a handful of teams throwing huge coin at one or two players doesn't improve the quality of the league, and it only bumps attendances up for the first few weeks until the gloss of seeing the player has worn off.
Nowhere else in Asia is there a league where the quality of the teams is so equal that the entire top division and half of the 2nd division are all competitive.
The J-League grew up and grew out of needing expensive "sugar-hit" players and are well on the right track the way they are.

If only the season was 9 games long, Carp would have finished 1st. This loss bumped them back down to 3rd.

Antlers and Gamba are a total wreck so far this season. I guess the Sanfrecce vs Gamba game finished after this article was written, but Gamba were almost completely outplayed and while Sanfrecce ran away with the game scoring twice in the final 10 minutes, a 4-1 scoreline does not look at all good for the Osaka boys.

It isn't a scam and the point of it isn't to conserve electricity or lower emissions. The original aim of the earth hour idea is for everyone participating to turn off their lights and for that hour, to think about, and talk about, environmental issues.
Parents talking to kids, families discussing the environment and things they can do in their own lives to improve and conserve, its about getting people thinking and talking about positive steps, on a personal level as well as any larger scale, that can help with conserving the environment.

Japan's football media and public are idiotic. The guy wins them the Asian Cup, and now loses a friendly and a match that didn't have a bearing on whether they progressed or not, and he's under fire?
Massive ingrates with a huge entitlement complex, the Japanese media and fans are.
