All Japan wants is their rightful territory returned. Iturup, Kunashir, Shikotan and the Habomais.

They have no claim to the rest of the Kurils or Sakhalin, all they want is the South Kurils (aka Chishimas) returned, which were wrongfully taken by the Soviet Union after the war.
