I usually fly JAL because I've got a million miles with them. Also, ANA doesn't go where I want in the US

Good grief, Boeing vs Airbus again ... WTF cares?

I flew Finnair last year out of Centrair. The food was bad but the flight was good and the price was nice. I would definitely fly them again :) (especially since I could skip friggin Narita.)

I want my kids to be then self not Japanese or part of any other race or group, I want then to be Human, have some Humanity, love, care, self respect, not to lower then self just to make other feel good, make then own choices in life, and take care of then self in any giving situation, not be part of a group a Robot and leach of the accomplishment of another people, i think that is the only reason Japanese feel so good about saying "I AM JAPANESE" most Japanese if they think or become independent they automatically become a looser with nothing to show in life.

    100% correct.

Japanese parents don't raise their kid, they merge them into the massive ignorant droid collective known as Japanese Society.

Quarantine them, yet let the other Japanese with the flu run around? That makes sense, doesn't it?

... Chinen, who is new to the role, said she will put all that she can into the role, especially the bath scenes.

Well, it's piqued my interest already :)

I know the use of English here is simply for show, but why oh why can't those in supposed positions of authority use proper English on such things!? Or get out from behind their xenophobia and simply ask someone who DOES know English.

This has been discussed around the internet. I forgot the main reason(s), but it was something like 'the Japanese as a whole don't understand proper English anyway, so going through the trouble of editing for mistakes wouldn't really be worth the cost.'

    Great, huh?

There are no direct flights from the US: they'd have to go through Hawaii or Guam. I bet after work stopped not many of them would want to go home.

Neither Honda nor Toyota said it had any plans to turn the technology into a product for commercial sale as each said they are still developing the research.

Hard for me to take this seriously after seeing Toyota sack so many temp staff

Most kids don't pay much attention to these posters. Or they put push-pins in the eyes, color in the teeth, etc.

Entertainer Koneko Edoya, 59, famous for his animal impersonations, was also appointed to the role. He mimicked a Japanese nightingale when he said: “Wild animals possess a natural defensive instinct. I think we too should be alert about our surroundings.”

What is with Japan and designing so many things towards women? Aren't they arrogant and spoiled enough to beging with?

The Higashiyama Zoo is as bad as the article says. Probably because it's 99.9% concrete and utterly depressing. The pengiuns are situated in the middle of the park, surrounded by cement, which in Nagoya's heat and humidity can reach 39 degrees. A lot of the caged animals walk around and around and appear depressed or ill.

The polar bear has his moments: years ago when I was there, s/he would wait until a group of people were gathered around. Then s/he'd plop him/herself into the water and drench the on-lookers. That alone was worth the $5 to get in.
