    ExPrincesKa, i agree with you. This is exctly the wrong type of person to promote this. This is a 24 hour programme, and kids may watch, and ask who is the woman promoting this?

    Typical Japanese bad morals. Also their telethons, get stupid amounts like 10 Milion Yen, a drop in the ocean and pathetic, Japanese are tightwads towards helping others, no sense of charity.

    Last time i was in UK, they had a telethon on the BBC, all celebrities participated for free, and load s of the general public did runs, walks, cycling etc events for the charity.

    Thay raised over 6,000 Million Yen. Truely generous people. Japan, try to come close to that amount, never, they are mean with helping others esprcially HIV, which many believe does not exist in Japan.

    Obama joked and chatted to European despots, without once questioning human rights abuses.

    fds; maybe one day you or one of your family will be in their shoes. You won`t be so smug then.

    I have seen many that work whenever they can. As they get older the laboring jobs dry up, and they have to collect cans or paper and cardboard instead.

    The homeless i have seen in Japan were never drunk, and sometimes had pets, whcih were treated on the whole a demn sight better than your average Japanese pet.

    Research things before you jump to conclusions and put down thousands of unfortunants.

    JoeBigs; I beg to differ. She is a hardworking woman with integrity. A woman with strong beliefs that she puts into practise in her own life.

    Compare her to either Obama or BIden, and you shall see she is far superior on all counts, especially morally.

    All this fighting between everyone over this election is damaging our country , and people are fogetting about the real danger, the war on terror.

    Mr Bush cancel the election,decide who should be you successor and allow us to continue the fight on the war on terror. Too much is at stake, the election must wait until our rulers see fit.

    There will be dissent by a minority, but martial law can be operated in areas it is needed. The war on terror is the priority for patriots.

    The election can wait, the war on terror cannot, it is on going.

    I agree with ColAmerica-

    Guys like Ayana can get help emotionally and spiritually to guide them in the right path. Having a an operation to change your god given identity is morally wrong.

    Ayana Tsubaki should not be feted in public, but ignored. If he/she just wished to be a woman, why draw so much attention to it?

    Seems like a money making scheme to me.

    CavemanLawyer- McCains aims are to continue our policy of winning the war on terror, and bringing freedom to people living in fear under despots.

    The Afghan and Iraq liberations are baring fruit, both countries are now functioning democracies.

    Iran may have to be liberated, nothing can be ruled out, those Iranians are unpredictable and may need a regime change.

    Obama would run from all these foreign problems and the world would be more dangerous, and mofre people would be living in fear.

    I cant imagine patriotic servicemen flocking to vote for an appeaser ahead of a respected war hero.

    Obama will allow the terror to enter our country. Our families will be in constant danger. Our freedoms will be violated.

    McCain and Palin will lead us to another 8 years of economic growth, and safety from our enemies.

    Obama is a flashy show off, know nothing guy, who wouldn`t know the meaning of the word patriotic.

    Obama cannot debate, that is why he turned down debates with McCain.

    McCain and Palin are true patriots not afraid to use soft and hard power to achieve our aims.

    The independents are going to vote for McCain, as the guy with traditional values.

    Everton- Many downs syndrome kids have great lives and are very happy. The parents i am sure, will ensure the child has the best of cre and attention, they hve the resources.

    McCains choice is heroic, just like the guy himself. Brave and correct choice for his running mate.

    Georgia was right to sever ties with a country that resorts to aggression to achieve its targets.
