Tough one there were many good ones.

I don't see what the big deal is.

Media worldwide today values goods looks and sexy more than skills and talent. There was even a report on Discovery about it where they talked to music producers worldwide and the consensus was that if you ain't got the looks you can't cut it today. They prefer a look now as it can also sell Videos, merchandise, etc more than just music. Example for that is American idol(hate that show).

When was the last time you saw a famous singer that didn't look hot? Very few out there like Enya, etc.

I might be wrong but I think I see a group of people in the background.

    Nevertheless a very nice picture.

    No report on-hand right now.

But similar stories to what is written in the article are on the japanese TV news. People saying they can't afford overseas holidays, prefer to take holidays closer to home or at home, many also don't use their cars anymore for trips like to Enoshima and rather use the trains, etc.

    HTH.

I like my popcorn but only with salt added. The buttery and the coated stuff you can keep. Vile stuff, IMO.

So personally I don't mind if I can't get popcorn at the cinema, usually buy a packed or two of nuts anyway.

Hmm, OS X is UNIX based too.

Mac OS X is the successor to the original Mac OS, which had been Apple's primary operating system since 1984. Unlike its predecessors, Mac OS X is a Unix-based operating system[4] built on technology that had been developed at NeXT through the second half of the 1980s until Apple purchased the company in early 1997.

Any decent UNIX programmer or admin can hack OS X.

Coverage in Japan has been good so far they showed a lot of judo-matches that involved no Japanese. Even managed to see some of my countrymen compete.

But I am sure that coverage will vary between stations some will do better than others.

Personally, I prefer manual. Not happy if I can't wiggle the sticks, etc.

Many countries still separate the licences and I think it is good. If you Can drive a manual than an automatic is easy, so go for manual. Same way I was taught to go for the licence in winter if you can pass it on snow/ice than fair weather driving is a cinch.

As for the topic at hand, I like as much control as I can Automatics, fuel-injection, etc just don't give me that.

Had a few calls where I needed to gun/redline it if my transport would have thought otherwise ....
