To assume that a Japanese speaker is not able to discern whether or not someone is speaking Chinese is ludacris. I'm an English speaker and with my minimal exposure to the Chinese language I'm able to determine when someone is speaking Chinese. I'm certain an English speaker can tell the…

Come on, doesn't everyone want to run a marathon in mosquito infested slums while it's insanely hot and humid outside? I would not want to be a track athlete in Rio! Of course Chicago is not much better in the summer. The games have never been to South America, and…

Hatoyama has his priorities way out of whack. Japan is already the sponsor of the Kyoto treaty and already strives to be one of the greenest places in the world. Why the heck would Hatoyama waste precious time that could be spent on the economy with this initiative? Well, I…

I hope the extra $750 from the DPJ party undoubtedly being put straight in to the Japanese bank accounts is worth Japan willingly sandwiching themsleves between the interests of the two superpowers of the U.S. and China. Poison always tastes better when there's a little sugar on it.

Ummm, I hate to bust Hatoyama's bubble, but the financial crisis is not a strictly U.S. phenomenom. Apparently he has not picked up a newspaper in the last 2 years because it is referred to as a "Global" financial crisis. And oh yes, his buddies in China are also included.…

Well excuuuse us. I'm so sorry that Japan has been the most favored trading partner of the U.S for over 40 years. I guess we should feel sorry for Japan that Americans pay outrageous prices for Japanese cars, electronics, gaming consoles, and plenty of other big ticket items that drive…

This arrest is idiotic. How on earth are they going to prove that speed was a factor in the accident? Driving a bus is not easy on dry roads let alone rainy and wet ones. Not to mention this man wasn't even a professional bus driver. The Japanese police force…

It's better than marketing cheap Sushi restaurants in China. That would probably decimate the fish population around far East Asia which is already suffering badly. Maybe some of China's tainted food exports will make its way back to the Chinese Denny's restaurants!

How can this possibly be considered "news"? Companies have been heavily doing this for at least 3 years. It's amazing how Japan, such a technology juggernaut in certain ways, is so behind with Information Technology.
