    Michael JP-

Yes, I thought that was outstanding. I've also seen the one zanza has mentioned; very well scripted if I can say so myself. I agree with you smithinjapan, there is a difference...I'd be pissed if i was eating and some random guys just popped his penicl out on the desk next to me, but if it were to be a female just wanting to flash the monkey...I'd be ok. As long as it had the landing strip.

good site for you guys youjizz.com

Keshii- I think japan is getting there. IKEA in the Yokohama area provides that service for parents for up to an hour I believe. There is progress, but still those parents where responsible enough to place their kid(s)in such a space. The parents in this situation, did no such thing. Its was an avoidable accident, if and only if they had given their child the attention.

I can even give you a example, some what similiar to someone's earlier post:

Summer of 2006, my mother flew in from NY to visit Japan and meet my better half and her family. We are out for the weekend in sight seeing and all, upon return sunday even while parking the car, my wife and mother entered our home to find that we had been robbed. Most of what was taken were my electronics (laptop, md players etc.). It took the Japanese authorities (which have a koban 3-5 minutes from the house which my wife ran to and found it empty), almost an hour to arrive. Upon their arrival, 10 officers came, three in plan clothes and the rest looked like newbies. They did their normal routine, black light the floors and the furniture to find prints (most of which were my own or my wifes), other prints found were not a match to either of us. Well to get to the point, once they were done with questions and blah blah blah, its 3am, they had been there for 5 hours doing nothing but asking and repeating the same nonsense. They left one of the recruits there and he continued to frustrate us with BS!!! I was about ready to choke him out......to get to the point, they are incompetent!!!!!

Japanese police are not subject to criticism from Japan's guests. You follow the law, or you go to jail. Don't like it? Go home.

    ampontan-

what is that!? The question was to all JT readers, regardless of status. Anyway...back on topic.

Nagoyagaijin- couldn't agree with you more.

think the general sense of "Japanese police incompetence" comes from the reports we see. When all we see are those BIG mistakes, then we tend to get a negative impression of the local po-po. In a way, it's very similar to the general sentiments against American military personnel...we see reports of the bad stuff..not of the good stuff.

So, in short...I don't think anyone would be as incompetent as we JT posters tend to make the police out to be. We just comment on the incompetent ones we read about.

    R.I.P 2yr old Riku Endo

I agree with many of the post and disagree with many of the comments made to very legitamate agrguements. @2yrs of age, he should have been held by has hand, there is no need for a leash (animals uses leashes). I will wait for more information before I join in on commenting on if baby's are having baby's and pachinko incident. But if you all may recall, a small boy at the age of 3-5 was struck by a train while his mother was in a nail salon getting her nails done. Most of the post here stem from an earlier topic on parenting style in japan. I don't blaim this on japan parenting/us/uk/ whatever, parenting is a 24/7/365 day job. Its like Romulus3 put it "clearly these accidents are because of a lack of devotion." plain and simple.

ands up who is married to a Japanese wife, and thinks that Japanese women are submissive.

    Hikoza-

Not sure where you get your information on all japanese females being submissive, because my sure as hell isnt. I have the same relationship as GW, not that she is submissive but of it being that we are a married couple and its repsect for one another. Before meeting my wife, I've dated foreign women here in japan and you know what, its just like back home...a woman is going to be a woman anywhere. I said it before, doesn't matter where or what language you speak. There is only thing you need to know as a male or female, thats love and it conquers all.
